146 - The Traitor

The only thing that was wrong in my head was my inability to drive Hilbert away, regardless of whatever bad things he had done.

For other things, such as my current plan, my brain could still think about it calmly and clearly.

I'm not stupid. After being warned not to leave this room, I had a feeling that David was now in another room not far enough away.

Surely, he wanted to watch me alone. If he could monitor me from his room, then my chances of escape would be minimized.

So my goal now was to find where David was. I had a feeling too, that he and Isabella were planning something.

For this reason, I was not allowed to see my baby until now. If my hunch was correct, they would continue to separate me from Crystal until it became safe.

“There are only a few days left, Master. I just wanted to warn you, as someone who has worked with him.”
