Chapter 82: Aruna's Condition

Omnibus' POV

"What do you think you're doing?" I asked Shintara.

"What do you think? Making a way easier for you," she coldly said, not looking at me.

"I don't need your help. Just stay out of this. It's my call whether I will make the bet or not."

She suddenly rose from her seat and faced me with her vaunts. "It's not even your call, to begin with. Amarantha belongs to my race. She doesn't belong to you, not even to this bitch behind me. So, stay out of this and just focus on the fact that we'll save her," she hissed.

But not an ounce of intimidation occurred to me. I was even more upset.

I clenched my jaw and grabbed her hand away from that room. Aruna's men were about to stop us but Aruna signaled her hand to them to stop.

"Let them be. They need to talk..." she said to them.
