CHAPTER 5: Humiliation and Rejection

2025-01-29 15:30:42Ava's rejection hung in the air like a challenge, and Dolion's eyes flashed with a fierce warning. His wolf strained to break free, its fury threatening to consume them all. "She doesn't want us!" the beast growled, its voice echoing in Dolion's mind. "KILL! Kill all of them and take our mate!"
Ava froze, her heart racing as she watched Dolion fight to contain his wolf. His eyes blazed with a fierce inner turmoil, and for a moment, she thought she saw a glimmer of madness. Then, his gaze snapped back to hers, and he pulled her into a crushing embrace. His head buried in the crook of her neck, Dolion inhaled deeply, his hot breath sending shivers down her spine. Ava stood rigid, her heart pounding in her chest, as the room held its collective breath. Everyone watched in rapt attention, their faces set with concern and fear. Without warning, Dolion scooped her up and sprinted out of the hall, leaving a trail of stunned onlookers in his wake. Terrance, Charles, and a few other Alphas gave chase, but Dolion's speed was unmatched. As they burst through the forest entrance, Dolion slammed Ava against a tree. Ava hissed in pain as her breath hitched, she closed her eyes to regain stability and ease the pain. He slammed his fist into the tree right behind her head, his eyes blazing with fury. "I've had enough of your antics, little mate," he snarled, his voice low and menacing. "You will behave and accept the bond, or I'll teach you in the harshest way possible." Ava's eyes flashed with defiance, but Dolion's words sent a shiver down her spine. His finger trailed down her face, sending sparks of electricity through her body. As Dolion's lips brushed against the sensitive skin of her neck, Ava felt a shiver run down her spine. He paused at the exact spot where his mark would be etched, and Ava's vulnerability was palpable. In a subconscious gesture, she tilted her head to the side, exposing her neck to him. A spark of electricity seemed to arc between them, and Ava's body betrayed her, responding to Dolion's touch with a fiery passion. She tried to push him away, but he was unyielding, his fingers tracing a path of desire along her skin. his touch igniting a fire within her. As Terrance and the others approached, Dolion's growl sent them standing rooted to the point where they were. Ava's father watched in horror as Dolion loomed over his daughter, his eyes never leaving hers. "I'm fine, Father," she communicated, trying to reassure him. Dolion's hand disappeared into her cleavage, his next move left her breathless. His hands cupped her vagina, and his smirk grew wider as he inhaled her arousal. "What do we have here, Ava?" he taunted, his voice dripping with malice. "It seems you're not as immune to me as you thought." Ava's face burned with humiliation as she took in the crowd of people behind her father, realizing her pack members and the other Alphas could probably also smell her arousal. Tears pricked at the corners of her eyes as she bit her lip, trying to stifle a moan, that she couldn’t help making from his continuous assault on her sexual sanity. Dolion's hands continued to explore her body, the slit in her dress gave him access to move his hand freely on her lower area, his touch sending waves of pleasure and shame through her. Ava's green eyes blazed with hatred as she glared at Dolion, trying to struggle from his hold again, she hates that he made her feel that way without being able control it or put up any resistance, determined not to put up with this any longer, she wasn’t going to last any longer before crumbling under his persistent touch. With this thought and as she peered at her father’s uncomfortable face from afar, thankfully Dolion had the decency to cover her with his body, but she had had enough, left breathlessly from the unwanted pleasure, with her voice barely above a whisper, "I, Ava Beaumont, Alpha of Crescent Claw pack, reject you..." The words hung in the air like a challenge, and Dolion's response was immediate. His growl shook the air, unleashing a wave of pain that sent everyone crashing to the ground. Ava whimpered, clutching her chest as the agony washed over her. As she lost her ability to breathe, Ava's gaze locked onto Dolion's, her eyes blazing with hatred. Then, everything went black.
