It was evening when Maya finally woke up from her nap. Killian was hovering above her with a smile on his face.

"I see you've finally decided to rejoin the land of the living," he said.

"What happened?" Maya asked as she sat up, still feeling drowsy.

"Nothing, I just watched you sleep." Killian replied softly as he caressed her cheeks. Maya voluntarily leaned into his touch. She liked it. She didn't know why but for some reason his touch made her feel warm inside. She loved the way his thumb stroked her cheek.

"Why didn't you wake me up earlier?" Maya asked as she yawned and stretched.

" You were sleeping so beautifully, how could I bear to wake you up? I'm not that heartless." Killian replied, smiling down at her. Maya blushed at his words.

"Is there anything you want to tell me?" Maya asked as Killian lay down beside her, his arm resting over her waist.

"Yes, but you'll have to get up and get ready first." Killian replied, he didn't seem in any hurry to let her get up.
