A yawn left Serenity's mouth.

Both the girls were too energetic. Playing cards excited them a lot, and they stayed awake until they heard the werewolves gather for morning practice.

Only after that, they left— not because they were exhausted but because of getting caught.

Serenity truly hoped that they wouldn't get caught because she didn't want to lose such a valuable source of information.

Although Emma was stern and had tight lips, Lila, on the other hand, was easier to go around. She got to learn a lot of things and also understood that Lila would be the best person to get all the pack secrets out from.

She needed to have an alone moment with the woman where she wouldn't be disrupted by Emma.

There was a cunning glint in Serenity's eyes.

She planned to go to bed when Jake knocked on her door and entered. There was a mischievous smile with a playful twinkle in his eyes that she had no positive feelings about.
