“That was one weird dream to have. That bastard hugging me and calling me mate? Serenity, that’s a nightmare. What a- ah!”
A shout escaped from her mouth when she noticed the gloomy man sitting on the couch, staring at her impassively. Serenity sat up on the bed, hugging her knees and backing away instinctively.
“What are you doing here?” She asked defensively.
Then, her memories started to return to her. Her hand reached out to touch her bandaged neck, and she had the urge to lose her consciousness again. She was not ready to face this insane world now.
“That was not a dream. That cannot be not a dream. What does that mean then? That the Alpha has lost his mind? He needs help? His senses went all wrong?”
