Danger
When Kieran found out that Serenity had escaped from the room, a storm of agitation and trepidation churned within him. His heart pounded in his chest as he hurriedly ordered the entire pack to search for any signs of her. Gathering all those who were out on patrol, he questioned them urgently, his voice edged with desperation. But every single one of them shook their heads, their faces blank with ignorance. The negative responses only deepened the dark cloud over Kieran’s mood.
There was no doubt that Serenity was merely a human no matter how smart she was, and these were the trained warrior wolves of his pack. He was sure that they helped her in escaping the pack.
