One of Alonso's men rushed inside, heaving. "My king, we couldn't find the princess and her step sisters," The guy informed and Alonso's face soured. "The f*ck you mean? Look for them! Alonso opened his eyes and the specs of copper in them had rage consuming her. He wiped her saliva with the back of his hand. He was killing her in a million different ways in his head. His eyes were murderous. "Bitch!" He barked, slapping her with such force she fell on the floor spitting out blood. Silvia stared at the dripping blood on the floor which was hazy. She shook her head lightly, blinking several times to clear her vision. She barely registered anything when he grabbed a fist full of her hair and yanked her up to her feet. "You made a deadly mistake this time Silvia. I'll not forgive you for this betrayal. This time your punishment would be far more lethal." He gnashed, almost spitting his words out in menace. Silvia stumbled inside her cottage on her shaky legs. Her vision was all blurry as warm blood kept pouring out of her wounds. She tried to step further inside but her legs gave out and she fell on the wooden floor with a thud. Hitting the side of her face on the floor. She blinked slowly trying to get rid of the dizziness but it was useless. The warm blood began to form a small pool around her ear. The scent of blood was so potent. She took a silent breath through her parted lips which were trembling. So this was it. This was how she was going to die. The cold breeze caressed her bare feet as the door to the cottage was still open. She didn't realize when she lost her boots while fighting Alonso. With much difficulty, she forced her broken body to move and finally faced the ceiling. She was lying limp with her back resting on the floor, drowning in her blood. She won. She killed Alonso. Her head was pounding and her eyelids were glued together. She tried to wake up but she couldn't even move or feel her body. All she could feel was that she could hear someone in the room who was moving. There was an invisible force weighing her down. Silvia didn't bother to try. She was tired and was surrounded by darkness so she simply gave into it once again hoping for death to embrace her peacefully. But it wasn't written in her destiny. The next time she got her consciousness back she was able to open her eyes. Silvia slowly blinked trying to clear her vision and it took her some time. She finally noticed the ceiling. She was still blinking, laying there limp when everything came back slowly and the last memory had her heart lurching to her mouth as a shiver ran down her spine. Pain. It comes in many forms and was given a gazillion names. Yet for everyone, it felt the same. The physical pain was always the easiest as it goes away with time.
