Silvia stiffened on her spot. Her wide hazel eyes fixed on his face. There was blood on his forehead and it had trickled down his eyebrow to his chin leaving a trail behind.

She glanced at the locked door and braced herself. This time she won't let him get near her. She'll use her magic against him if needed. She won't succumb to his atrocities.

She clenched her fists on her sides as her eyes trailed back to him again only for her heart to drop when she noticed that glint in his eyes.

Hunter's smoldering gaze roved over her body from head to toe as if he had every right to.

"What are you doing here?" She grated coldly. Trying to appear nonchalant about what he did last time. She won't break in front of him again.

"I missed you," He rasped, tipping his head, causing her heart to stutter. Sometimes he says such things that would leave her baffled and speechless. It struck her odd how true he sounded and it was absurd.

"Get out," She demanded sharply.

"This is my house," He deadpan
