Third Person's POV

Harris' face jerks left as Brody's fist connects with it. The Alpha quickly drops down low and moves right, before popping up and swinging his fist up and under. Brody's eyes slam shut as Harris's fist slams his mouth closed and cracks his teeth.

The wind is knocked out of Brody as Harris' shoulder connects with his stomach when he tackles him.

The fight seemed never-ending. Both Harris and Brody were bloodied, bruised, and exhausted.

Harris' family clung to every move, their bodies tense and fear consumed them. They silently prayed as hard as they could to the Moon Goddess to give Harris the strength to beat Brody.

Harris lost count of how many times his fist connected with Brody's face as he sat on his chest. With his fist pulled back, Harris screamed and let his fist fall limp against Brody's chest.

Tears fell from the Alpha's eyes and Brody barely had the strength to breathe.

Harris grabbed Brody and shook him.

"Stop it! Concede!... I don't want to kill

Third Person's POV Harris was beyond pissed that these assholes came into his territory and not only hurt his people, they killed a really good friend. As if he wasn't hurting enough from killing his mate 4 months ago, now they had to go and kill Brian's brother. Harris glances toward Brian and Jack when he hears Brian crying. He looks away as fast as he can when he sees Brian cradling his dead brother. Instead of feeling sad, rage courses through the Alpha and he finds himself wanting to slice through each of their throats. Harris looks at the redhead who is struggling in one of his warrior's arms. The bitch glares at him while growling and that only angers Harris more. Harris storms forward and firmly grips her chin, shoving her head back, and forcing the broad to look at him. "How dare you bring your fucking people into my territory an not only injure my men, you killed one too! And then you have the fucking audacity to look at me like that! I don't care if you are a she-wol

  • Alpha Harris A Betrayed Bond   Chapter 23 Answers from River

Third Person's POV "He's going to be okay, let's give the doctors the space they need so they can help him," Harris said when the little Omega cried out and reached for the stranger. Harris stepped into the hall and sat down, setting the Omega in the chair next to him. The Omega's head hung and he sniffled as he wiped his eyes. "Earlier you called him Atticus... Is that his name?" Harris asked and the little Omega nodded his head. "Yes." Rivers' voice was soft and sad. He sniffled as he wrapped his arms around himself. "Is he your Alpha?" "Yes." Harris looked forward as he let out a breath. "What were you guys doing here?" "Trying to get away from the bad people and make it to the river." "So you guys weren't trying to attack us?" Harris asked and the little Omega shook his head. "No! Why would we do that? We are just trying to find a safe place so the bad people can't get us. The river looks safe, that's where we were going." Harris let out a breath as he ran his hands

  • Alpha Harris A Betrayed Bond   Chapter 24 Protective Beta

Third Person's POV The Beta couldn't stop growling at anyone who stepped into his mate’s room. As torn as Cyrus was, and as angry as he was that his mate killed Jack, he couldn't leave his side. And for some damn reason, he couldn't push aside the feeling of wanting to bite off anyone's head that stepped into his mate's room. The nurses were getting annoyed when every time they needed to draw blood or even adjust the Beta's IV, their own stupid Beta would lunge for them. ... Atticus sat in the hospital bed with River curled up against him asleep. He was devastated when he felt Tristan die, and he was more than relieved when he felt his lifeline return, and the bond he has to Tristan, as his Alpha, reconnect. Atticus knew he wouldn't be able to just wander around this place as he pleased. But he wasn't expecting it would take so long to get permission to see Tristan. It's been over two hours, and he still hasn't been cleared to go see Tristan. He's not sure what hurts more

  • Alpha Harris A Betrayed Bond   Chapter 25 Tristan

Third Person's POV As Atticus followed Zane towards the pack house, the Alpha looked around, taking note of his surroundings and his mate’s pack. One of the things he noticed right away was that the people here didn't seem afraid. When they walked past the park, Atticus saw a Delta 3 and an Omega pushing their child on the swings, as other children laughed and played. A sense of pride went through Atticus knowing this is his mate's pack that is run so well. He notes how beautiful the landscaping is with all the flowers and shrubs throughout the pack. 'The place is really beautiful!' Atticus thought and felt his lips slightly tug up. Atticus must not have been the only one who noticed how beautiful and safe this place felt. It wasn't long before River began squirming in his arms, wanting down. Atticus smiled when he set River down and the Omega quickly ran toward a bundle of stargazers. The Omega dropped down, shoved his nose into the flowers, and took a deep breath in. Wh

  • Alpha Harris A Betrayed Bond   Chapter 26 Anger

Third Person's POV It doesn't matter how hard Harris tries not to think about him, he does, and it pisses him off. He was beyond angry when he looked at the clock and it read 3:48 a.m. He had to be up in almost 2 hours, and he still had not slept a wink. ‘All because of that stupid Alpha and his God-like body... No, Fuck!’ Harris cursed himself. 'That's not what it is! Damn it! He's just... I fucking hate him!' Harris cursed the man again for what seemed like the millionth time. Harris tried to tell himself the man didn't have a body like a god. He tried forcing himself to stop thinking about him, and wishing there was no such thing as the mate bond. Harris once again told the Moon Goddess where to shove it. And then for just a moment, Harris felt guilty for the things he said to her, but then he remembered the face Brody made as his claws pierced his chest and wrapped around his heart. Nothing in the world can describe the look on his face. Nothing in the world can describe wha

  • Alpha Harris A Betrayed Bond   Chapter 27 We Are Leaving

Third Person's POV It's their third day in this pack and Atticus is going stir crazy. As he paces the room the scent of Ash is so strong no one dares to go near him. His skin itches as Draven is just under the surface needing to be free. Atticus is both hurt and angry that his mate hasn't come to see him once. They've been stuck in these two rooms going on 2 days now. Atticus has requested to speak to the Alpha several times but he still hasn't come. The door opens and Atticus immediately stops pacing and faces the door. His immediate reaction was disappointment when he saw it wasn't his mate. But it quickly went away and he was filled with relief when he saw Tristan walking into the room. "Tristan!" The Alpha moved forward and lifted Tristan off the ground as he pulled him into a hug. "You scared me!" Atticus said, and breathed in his best friend's scent. "I'm sorry!" Tristan said as he hugged his Alpha. Atticus pulled back and held Tristan at arm's length, looking him ove

  • Alpha Harris A Betrayed Bond   Chapter 28 Atticus

Third Person's POV Atticus looked at the people they passed while walking down the hall. He took note of how large the pack house was. The hall leading from the stairs all the way to the back door was long. There are doors all along the hall and Atticus wondered what they were for. The back door flies open and two little boys come racing in. Atticus watches, surprised as the children scream and giggle as they run down the hall while being chased by a small Omega with white hair. Atticus expected the children to keep racing past, but instead, they tried to tackle his mate as they screamed his name for help. Atticus is surprised again when he hears Harris laugh as he picks the two little ones up. "Help us, the monster said he's going to eat us up!" The smaller little boy said, who looked very similar to the Omega walking towards them. "Oh no, I can't let that happen! How about let's eat daddy up instead." Harris said and the little ones became excited and began chanting “let'

Evelyn didn't give him a chance to anticipate what was coming. She simply called his name and when the elder turned she stuffed a cupcake into his face. As shocked as Nadja was, the beautiful sound of her laughter was worth it. He sat there for a moment before bringing the napkin in his lap to his face. Evelyn continued to laugh as she stood up and took the napkin from Nadja. The Omega sat sideways on his lap as she cleaned the icing from his face. After wiping the icing from his eyes they fluttered open and Evelyn froze, her breath caught and her heart skipped a beat for the first time. Nadja froze when he heard her heart skip. For a moment the Elder couldn't move. After a moment Nadja reached up and took the napkin with one hand while bringing his left hand to her creamy white cheek. “Thank y

Ezra growled as he reached out and shocked Grayson. The Future Alpha King yelped and then took off running with Ezra hot on his tail. Silas ran his hand down his face as he watched the two brothers chase each other around the yard. Grayson, now 10, created a snowball in his hand and threw it at his brother, hitting him square in the nose. This only infuriated Ezra and the 8-year-old thrust his hands forward, shocking Grayson. Third Person's POV It's been 5 years since Harris had their first child. A year and a half later their son Niles was born. He's an omega, a dragon/werewolf hybrid at the curious age of 3 and 1/2. Atticus doesn't know if they'll have any more kids. But his heart is content knowing he and his mate brought two dragons into this world. Not only that, they honored his Father and the Dad he had for such a short time. Michael got over his anger with Noah removing his tubes rather quickly. Asher on the other hand had to keep his walls up constantly. Onyx was devastated. He had hoped for more children, even though Noah expressed his desire not to have anymore. Onyx couldn't wrap his head around why Noah would take something like that from him. He didn't understand it, even after Asher's explanation. Onyx wished he would have kept a closer eye on Noah. The Alpha wolf was adamant that he would have never let the Omega take something like that from him. The Alpha wolf was so angry at Noah, tha

  • Alpha Harris A Betrayed Bond   Chapter 132

Third Person's POV Xavier stuck the bottle into the warmer and nervously glanced at Theo. The Omega rocked back and forth as Vivian fed from him. Damien was out cold on the couch due to Vivian having a hard time sleeping last night so the Beta was up with her. Xavier scratched the back of his neck as he struggled to find words for the Omega. He felt beyond guilty for the thoughts that went through his head at the hospital, and for the way he snapped at Theo when he asked a simple question about their child's name. Xavier hated the thoughts that went through his head when he felt Damien die and he hated that those thoughts didn't go away while he waited for Damien to wake up. The Alpha wasn't sure what to say, or how to make amends, or how to make things right again. Xavier wished Theo would be mad at him. He wanted the Omega to lash out, shout at him, yell, scream, or hit him. He felt he deserved it and so much more. After laying Vivian in her swing, Theo went back into the kit

  • Alpha Harris A Betrayed Bond   Chapter 131 Damien

Third Person's POV Xavier can't feel anything beyond the excruciating pain of the broken mate bond, and his broken heart. He can't even bring himself to comfort his hurt omega who is curled up in the fetal position on the floor next to him, sobbing uncontrollably. As much as he loves Theo, the Alpha can't function without his Beta who saved him all those years ago. Damien was the very air he breathed. His heart feels like it was ripped from his chest. He doesn't want to live without Damien. The Alpha's head reels as he feels the death of his little mate, and he can't figure out how to go on without him. Xavier sucks in a breath before leaning forward and screaming. Spit connects his lips as he screams while tears flow down his face and drip from his chin. The doctor works fast trying to stop the bleeding and clear out as much blood as he could so he could see. With the baby out, the doctor pulls the top of the uterus out and is shocked at how thin and weak it is. It's practically

  • Alpha Harris A Betrayed Bond   Chapter 130 Special Deliveries

Third Person's POV Harris slowly breathed as he held his stomach. Another nurse burst into the room and quickly began asking Harris questions. Harris almost felt dizzy with how fast everything was moving. One moment they were in the backyard relaxing, the next minute Finn was in labor, then Damien, and now he might be as well. It was all too much, too soon. Harris wasn't ready. What if they didn't have everything they needed? What if he messes up? What if he isn't good enough, and fails at being a Dad? What if it isn't a dragon, and he fails to give Atticus what he has been hoping for? Harris blinks his eyes several times and a face inches from his own comes into view. Harris realizes Atticus is holding his face. “Stop!... Everything is going to be just fine! We have everything we need and so much more. Of course, we're both going to mess up, but we're going to learn from our mistakes and do better. We're not perfect, no one is! But you will never fail at being a dad! You are going

  • Alpha Harris A Betrayed Bond   Chapter 129 I Need a Room

Third Person's POV “My water broke!” Addison took a sharp breath in as Maddox rushed forward, scooping his mate into his arms and praying his little angel didn't sneeze again. No one had to say anything, it was like they worked as one mind as everyone rushed through the pack house and out the front door. The sound of two engines roared to life as the vehicles sped out racing towards the hospital. “How are you feeling? Are you in any pain?” Addison asked as she adjusted Lucian's legs over her lap. “No, not yet. Just a little discomfort in my back.” Lucian said and then slowly exhaled as his stomach became tight. Addison looked between Finn's stomach that was exposed and his face. “How bad was that one?” Addison asked when Finn's body relaxed. “Not that bad. It's just a little stronger than the Braxton Hicks.” Finn said as he rubbed his belly. The Omega closed his eyes and leaned back against Maddox as Addison caressed his stomach. Addison looked into Maddox's eyes and could

  • Alpha Harris A Betrayed Bond   Chapter 128 Very Pregnant Mates

Third Person's POV As Atticus steps out the back door he breathes a sigh of relief seeing the many heaters on the patio. Fall has just arrived and Harris can't stand the cold. Dragons prefer very warm temperatures, but little dragons need and crave the heat even more. Harris' body is responding to the growing dragon in his womb, reacting as if he himself was a dragon. The smaller Alpha wears a sweater during the day while everyone else is wearing t-shirts. In the evening he snuggles inside a warm thick coat while everyone else is simply wearing long-sleeved shirts. Draven doesn't mind, in fact he loves it. He's a proud mate and father, ever protective and attentive. Their apartment is never below 78, and whenever they're snuggling or sleeping, Draven heats Atticus' body, warming their mate and growing hatchling. Addison holds the door open and watches each Alpha carefully lead their very pregnant mate out of the back door and onto the patio. Damien winces and Xavier is immediately co

Third Person's POV Harris swears his stomach wasn't this big yesterday. He feels like his stomach doubled in size overnight. Even though he's now five months pregnant, Harris was before somewhat able to hide it with large baggy shirts, but now there's no way for the Alpha to hide his ever growing abdomen. The car comes to a stop and Harris dreads stepping out of it. Especially since their little town seems so active right now. There are tons of people walking up and down the sidewalk, coming and going from each shop. Harris' hand protectively rests against his stomach, trying to hide his pregnancy. Harris nibbles on his lip before turning to look at his Alpha. “You know, we don't have to go shopping today. And, I can just get something to eat at home. Why don't we just go back!” Harris was hoping to change Atticus' mind, but the larger Alpha simply gave him a soft smile before climbing out of the car. “Damn it!” Harris cursed as he turned and looked out the window, watching all t
