HARIA'S POV

I know why Dad asked my brother to pick me up. He will definitely force me to stay at the camp again, especially now that Alpha Ryan rejected me. He will surely keep an eye on me because he is afraid that I might do something that is not good and will damage his reputation.

"What the hell, Haria? Get inside the car and let's not waste any more time here!" I heard the loud voice of my brother, Alpha Jomer, so I suddenly came back to my senses. It seems that my brother's patience is about to run out. I love seeing him like this so I'm purposely wasting time here. Let's see if he can manage to control his temper over me or lose it again.

"It's a hassle for me too, Haria! If it weren't for an important order from Dad, I wouldn't waste my time coming here to pick you up!" he continued.

I was about to answer him when we heard one of the soldiers who was with him shout.

"Someone was spying on us, Alpha Jomer!"

At the same time, a man ran away quickly from a parked car near us. I just grinned when I recognized who the man was. For sure, he was curious about who I was and tried to eavesdrop on what my brother and I were talking about. It seems that what I did to him earlier was effective. How dare he think about trying to score on me. He's just a beta.

"Let him go!" my brother ordered his soldiers.

"Get in the car, Haria! Don't wait for me to drag you!" He yelled at me so I followed and entered his car. Besides, the man will be pitiful if my brother changes his mind and sends his soldiers to chase him.

I didn't speak anymore as I got into the car and he drove down the road to the camp of the Blue Blood Pack. Same as my brother, who I don't know why he hates talking to me.

After a while, we reached the big gate of the camp of the Blue Blood Pack.

And as we got out of the car, we were immediately greeted by our dad, Alpha Jerwin.

He is the current ruler of the Blue Blood Pack and the alpha with the highest position in the camp. He was known as a strict and brave leader of the pack.

"Welcome to our camp, my beautiful daughter," Dad still greeted me with a wide smile on his face, although I was frowning and made it obvious to him that I'm not happy being here.

I didn't give him a response. I just kissed him on the left cheek instead, then continued walking.

He immediately called one of our soldiers and gave him instructions.

"Take Haria to her room and prepare food for her," he instructed the soldier.

The soldier immediately followed me and I stopped as I hate it so much being followed.

"Please lead the way," I asked him annoyingly.

Before I could start walking again, I heard my brother saying unpleasant words to our dad.

"Please forgive Haria for showing you her bad behavior. We all know that she really hates coming here." My brother was making me a bad girl in the eyes of our dad once again.

Then, I continued walking and followed the soldier who will lead the way to my room.

In the middle of our family dinner, Dad started talking about something that will surely upset me.

"By the way, Haria, you will stay here for the meantime while we fix the issue about you and Alpha Ryan's rejection of you. We need to do something to avoid some issues that may come up against you," Dad said seriously as he turned to me.

"But why here in the camp, Dad? Of all the places in the world, why here?" I immediately answered him with disagreement in my voice.

"Because this is the perfect excuse we can use so that the issue about Alpha Ryan's rejection of you doesn't escalate," he explained. "We can reverse the situation and spread the news that you rejected Alpha Ryan because you wanted to train here in the camp to be a soldier of our pack."

"What! Are you saying that I'm going to train here to be a soldier?" I was shocked by what I heard and immediately turned to my dad. "No, Dad! I will never do that. I never, ever dreamed of being a soldier of our pack," my voice even slightly raised, in protest to what my dad wanted to happen.

"Just bear with it, Haria. You will just stay here in the meantime until the issue about you and Alpha Ryan disappears. It's a big shame for our family if the issue about you being rejected by Alpha Ryan spreads. And you will be the most affected by this because no alpha will choose you anymore. You will end up in the end with just an omega if we don't do this."

"So what if I just end up with an omega in the end? I don't care! I'm not going to stay here to attend training," my voice was hard as I continued protesting.

"Why are you still complaining, Haria? Why don't you just be grateful to us for helping you out?" My brother also joined the conversation and I hate it so much, especially if no one was asking for his opinion.

"Just bear with it, Haria, okay. Your brother was here to help you," Dad even pointed to brother while speaking. They are in the same boat and it's making me super annoyed right now. "He will assist you and he will never let anyone hurt you. And after a few months, if you really can't continue with the training, then come back to the city and live with your own life."

"It's better if we talk about this after eating breakfast?" Mom interrupted. For sure, she noticed that we already stopped eating because of my conversation with Dad which turned into arguments. Even brother Jomer joined us and it's getting a little intense.

Dad stopped after hearing Mom speak. Then he turned his attention to the food in front of him.

Brother Jomer stopped speaking as well but before he turned his attention to the table, he gave me a bad look first as if he was disgusted with me because of the unpleasant behavior that I'm showing them.

Then, I suddenly stood up and spoke.

"I've already lost my appetite," after saying that, I turned around and quickly walked away from the dining area.

"Where are you going, Haria? Don't be rude!" my brother said aloud but I ignored him and just continued walking.

"Calm down, Jomer. I'll just talk to her later. For sure, she was upset with my decision," I heard what my dad said before I could finally leave the dining area and went outside of the mansion.

While taking a walk towards the training grounds of the camp, I noticed that a party was about to start there. Soldiers of our pack and other members were already starting to gather and I think they are just waiting for my dad to officially start the party. I hate socializing with other members of our pack so I turned around and went in another direction.

"There's a party here tonight, Haria. It was a victory party for our trainees who won an archery competition," I was startled when I heard a voice behind me as I was walking. I stopped and turned to look who followed me and spoke. It was my cousin, Kate. But I just gave her a blank expression and continued walking. I was still upset by Dad's decision so I'm not in a mood to talk to anyone.

"You're back, Haria, together with your unfriendly attitude," Kate continued in a teasing voice while still following me. She even placed her hand on my shoulder but I immediately removed it. "Auntie Mary told me that you're going to stay here at the camp for a few weeks. And she asked me to accompany you while you were here."

I just gave her a forced smile, making it obvious to her that I'm not happy about that decision.

"Knowing you for being a spoiled brat and a city girl, I bet you won't last here in the camp. One week was long enough and I'm sure soon, you will beg uncle to let you come back to the city," she continued with her teasing of me while having a little smile on her face. 

She loves teasing me every time I was being sent here by my dad. She's so confident that I won't get mad at her even though she's just a beta. She's the only one I can rely on here and she always helps me whenever I need help.

Before I could speak and even react to what she had said, she already held my hand and started pulling me towards the venue of the party inside the camp.

"The party was about to start. Our favorite band during childhood was here to play a couple of songs."

While Kate was hurriedly walking with her hand still holding mine, we bumped into my brother's friends. And that made us stop as Kate needs to respect them for being my brother's friends.

"You're back, Haria," one of my brother's friends said while wearing a wide smile on his face. He even approached me and patted me on my shoulder. "We thought you wouldn't make it to this important event."

"Of course, I won't miss this victory party for our trainees." I just answered him with that for them to stop asking as I hate it so much being the center of attraction here in the camp.

"She will join our forces soon because she came and will stay here to have training." It was my brother's voice that we heard and I immediately felt annoyed.

He actually managed to follow me here. And then, what? Will he tell his friends about Dad's decision for me to stay here and even join the training of being a soldier of the pack?

"Can I leave now? I want to go around the camp. You know, it's been a long time since I last came here," I immediately said when I had the chance. I don't want to stay in front of them as I'm getting more and more annoyed, especially with the looks of my brother and his friends.

"Sure, Haria," it was my brother's friend who answered and my brother didn't try to stop me, although I felt that he wanted me to stay there to talk with his friends.

Kate didn't feel like talking to my brother's friends as well so she followed me.

We were quite a distance from my brother and his friends when Kate spoke again.

"Guess what, cousin?" She even held one of my hands as if she was going to tell me some good news. "I will also attend training here, just like you."

"That's not surprising, Kate. Of course, they will ask for you to do that so that someone can watch over me and report to them when I do something bad."

"It was my own decision and no one asked me to do that," Kate immediately answered as an objection to what I said. "It's a tough decision but because I want to accompany you on your journey here, I decided to register for the training as well."

"You're crazy," I commented while shaking my head as I continued walking and she immediately followed me like a dog.

Then, three guys suddenly blocked our path after Kate accidentally bumped into one of them.

"Look, guys. We have visitors here," the tall guy with a muscular body said. He seemed to be the leader of them as he seemed to have the worst attitude among the three. "Hey, lady. I like you," he continued as he approached Kate and suddenly, he grabbed her on both cheeks as if he wanted to kiss her.

I was so surprised that I couldn't react immediately. I also couldn't stop the pervert man when he kissed Kate forcibly and started rubbing her ass.
