She started stepping back slowly, shaking her head.
“Zella. Stop.” Ezequiel asked her gently. She was sobbing brokenly and his heart was breaking up in million pieces.
“Sweetheart! Stop!” But she did not seem to listen.
Turning around at once she broke into a run trying to get away from him. Her only mission was to run to the safety of her room and shut it all away.
She was about to enter the palace when two strong arms came around her and lifted her. The person was carrying her on his shoulder like a sack with her bum in the air.
She started fighting it again with her fists and kicks, “Put me down, you idiot! PUT ME DOWN!”
Once Ezequiel reached his room he locked it before putting her down. She was hiccupping now.
“I need to go to my room. Let me go please.”
“This is your room Zella. Stay here. I won’t force you to do anything. Please, sweetheart. Stop pushing me away
