She had returned home with Dustin to find Ivy and Christ back from the trip. Just one look at Hazel’s face and Ivy sensed that something was not right.
Hazel decided it was time to tell Ivy everything. She was becoming tired to carry the burden all alone.
Ivy made tea for them while Dustin received the pizza order. When they were settled in the living room she told them everything about her job in the palace, about butler’s son attempting suicide, and then her attachment to him.
