Chapter 69

Linda frowned because she knew what Caleb was up to, she couldn’t let him get close to Emma but before she could react he already left.

Caleb hurried to follow Emma, he arrived at a garden behind the house and saw Emma standing there while glaring at the stars.

“I never knew you liked staring at the stars,” he said and she turned towards him.

“What are you doing here?” was he not supposed to be having dinner with her family?

“I am ashamed to say it, but I will say it anyways. I lost my way,” he said and Emma raise a brow confused.

“And where was your destination?”

“To the bathroom, I need to get this stain out,” he said and Emma glared at his t-shirt which was stained by wine.

“Are you okay?” Caleb asked and Emma nodded, why will he think she was not okay?

“I don’t mean to interfere, but they were talking about your marriage and you got pissed. Don’t you want to marry Alex?” he needed to know if she was forced into doing this or if it was of her own free will.
