Chapter 66

Emma was happy that her aunt was here, she was understanding and will never force her to do something which won't make her happy. Emma turned towards her mother with a sad look.

“Mother, I didn’t say I will be getting married,” Emma said and her mother frowned, then she calmed down and smiled.

“Okay, but you did agree to get engaged next week. How about we talk about the wedding after the engagement?” she asked and Emma shook her head in denial.

“I thought you learned your lesson, don’t you remember how you tried to rush my wedding with Caleb and he had to activate a bomb just to escape it?” she sneered and this made her mother very angry, she didn’t like hearing his name and also reminded of how she was fooled.

“This is how it works now right?” Luna Michelle asked and Emma looked away.

“Stop the preparations, my daughter is going to be alone for the rest of her life all because of a man who is probably happy somewhere else,” she scolded the maids and they stopped cooking.
