Miles and Alpha Alphonso were like water and oil, their hatred towards each other was like they were competing to see who loathed the other the most. Miles knew how to rile him just the way he used to know where to hit his sister, Luna Adrielle.

Alpha Alphonso pushed him away, he moved away easily and bowed sarcastically, “forgive me, dear alpha, where are my manners, where are my dear sister and your mate?”

Repeating himself was a way of annoying him, and Alphonso knew it. He clicked and walked to his chair. He slumped onto it and answered, “don’t pretend like you care when you don’t. Have you forgotten that you used to sell her to the highest bidder who said yes?”
