Justina's Point of View

"Are you okay, Chad?" I asked as I knelt in front of him.

"Yes, Sweetheart. I am fine. I came because I need to speak to you about something important," Chad said

"What do you have to tell me?" I asked

"We should discuss this privately," Chad said

"Hell, no. I am not leaving you with my Mate alone," Chace growled. I was upset with Chace for keeping the fact that Chad was here, but I could feel how worried he was for me through the bond.

"Chad, you can tell me whatever it is you need to in front of my brother and Mate," I said, and Chad was silent for a moment.

"Are you sure?" Chad asked

"Of course she is sure," Chace said

"Yes, Chad. I trust them," I said

"Okay," Chad said, and we sat at the table.

"How do the two of you know each other anyway?" Chace asked, looking between Chad and me

"I met Chad the night I moved to the Half Moon Pack. I was taking a walk on the human territory next to the Half Pack, and three Rogues attacked me. Chad saved me from them,"

I can’t even believe this is the same author I read 2 amazing books before. That’s why I keep coming to read because I have faith she gets better with this book, but I’m losing my faith and trust instó this author

Why do we continue to get chapters where people continue repeating themselves throughout the chapter and barely get any answers or no answers at all? Barely progressing and moving forward.
