Opening the door to the interrogation room Carter went inside -it was just as Jake had said the hunter was dead.

Not even an hour have passed but the dark blood trickling from the corner of his mouth have already dried up. Carter gave an indifferent glance to the dead body and then walked out of the room.

There was no point in dismantling a dead body, he wanted to keep this hunter alive to satiate the anger that was coursing in his veins but if he was dead then there was no point in letting his wolf play with a corpse.

What was the fun in it? Without the screams of agony was there any point in ripping apart a human body?

He marched past the corridor of the basement and turned right where the operating room was and sauntered inside raising a brow at Jake and Shayne who seemed to be having an intense discussion.

“What’s going on? Did you guys find out anything? Or did you keep that dead body to play fetch?”<
