An hour later, she walked inside the main room of the pack hall and as she entered, she saw that most of the pack was gathered around the dining table, all of them looked very grief-stricken. Especially, Caroline who was shaken up until her entire face turned pale—- just last night the woman almost lost her son and now she received the news that her sister was dead, it was understandable why her eyes were rimmed red and her face was all puffy and splotchy.

Thalia wasn’t good with grieving people, since she never got the chance to grieve anyone. She didn’t even remember how her parents died much less whether she cried or grieved their loss, she shifted from foot to foot before she headed towards Carter who was standing in the corner of the room in a pitch-black suit. She intended to say something nice but then thought against it, she didn’t know his aunt and though she was grieving it was because the deceased was Carter’s aunt and nothing else—- she was intending to say the typical ‘
