5 | STRANGE THINGS

Arther entered to his Blake Light Pack with his footsteps that looked very fast about right now on there. Arther's right palm which was holding on the bag of containing the cakes and breads even looked so much red right now, because Arther had already tightened of his grip on there right now. Arther didn't even pay attention to all of the stares and even of the respectful greetings that had already been given by all of the omegas in his Pack about on there right now.

“IZZY!”

Arther immediately shouted calling for his sister named Izzy on there. Even so, Arther couldn't even control of his voice at all right now which he now recognized as Alpha's voice which he had never even used when he was talking to Izzy, his younger sister. Arther looked in all of the directions in his Pack with those slightly wide eyes on there right now.

"What's wrong, brother?" Shortly after the called, Izzy was seen walking down of the stairs from the second floor of the Blake Light Pack on there about. With the footsteps of Izzy's feet that seemed hasty, they drew closer and closer to Arther right now, who was still standing on the first floor of the Pack.

Arther looked at his sister – Izzy was on there with a small frown about right now on. Meanwhile Izzy looked so much worried and feels a little bit of scared as she looked straight at Arther on there. Izzy stopped walking on there and stood right in front of Arther. "What's the matter, brother? Why did you scream like that to me earlier?” Izzy asked. Even so, Izzy couldn't really help to hide of her feelings very well about right now.

Arther sighed for a little bit immediately. Arther's chest felt very tight at this moment about right now. The sweet, calming scent that had been bothering him ever since seemed to haunt him until in this Pack right now actually. And Arther couldn't even help himself to be more in control of himself about on there. Moreover, Arther could feel of his wolf soul - Arlo, which seemed to want to take over control of his body right now. Which would be very difficult for Arther to control himself at this point. Arther still didn't even understand what was going on and he was feeling about it right now.

“I - I don't know actually. Here, the cake and bread that you ordered about. I don't know what flavor that you like so much. So, I asked the baker to choose it for you.” Said Arther who immediately handed the bag containing of the cake and bread right to Izzy.

Izzy accepted the bag immediately with a big smile showing on her face right now. Izzy even looked very impatient to be able to open and eat all of the cake and bread that was in the bag about right now. But when Izzy looked back at Arther, the smile that had previously appeared on Izzy's face, was right now starting to seem to disappear.

“Brother, what happened to those two eyes of yours right now?” Izzy asked in that panicked tone of her voice immediately.

Arther instantly raised of his right palm on there, and subconsciously rubbed of his face on there about right now. “My two eyes? What's wrong with that right now?" asked Arther in that disbelieving tone of his voice for an instant.

Izzy blinked her eyes a few times there for a moment. “Th-that. Both brother's eyes turned so much metallic right now." Izzy answered and felt so much nervously about right now.

"Shit." whispered Arther.

Which without waiting there anymore, Arther stepped back, leaving Izzy that stay silent on there, to be able to go to his room which is also on the second floor in his Pack about right now. Arther even immediately locked the door to his room quite hard. Arther stepped back once again so that he could get more closer to the mirror and see his reflection on there. And it was very clear that the color of his two eyes had right now turned to metallic.

"This is the same as what happened earlier today on me. What exactly does this change mean actually? And also I feel that turmoil as if it was bubbling up inside of my body right now.”

Arther rubbed of his face with both of his palms in a rough motion immediately. Feeling so much anger about right now. Arther immediately stepped back into the bathroom, then Arther started to turn on the shower faucet, and let his whole body exposed with the water on there immediately.

It's still not a full moon, and why should I feel out of control all over my body and mind right now. It was as if right there was a trigger for all of this that I didn't even know what it meant to me. Arther's mind spoke in his mind. Arther seemed to be starting to lower his head slightly on there about right now. And closed both of his eyes on there directly. Arther tried so much hard enough to get both of his eyes back to the normal color.

Arther didn't even want his wolf soul - Arlo to take control all over him before the full moon arrived tonight. And sadly, it still took for a few more hours in the middle of the night. Arther had never in the whole life to let Arlo take control over of him so strongly as he is about right now. And sadly, his wolf soul Arlo didn't even say anything about that uncontrollable change in him about right now. Or more accurately, the two of them right now. What's more, Arther couldn't even can to ask his mother or father, both of whom were right now is out of the Pack, on vacation. Arther wouldn't even have asked Izzy, because she is still underage about right now.

Arther was starting to feel a little bit of that calmness begin to rise within him a little. Even so, Arlo - the wolf soul itself still felt a little bit of rebellious with the calm of Arther was trying to have at this time about right now. After that, Arther immediately decided to clean of himself all up. And also aside from that, Arther started planning to try to find out why he had such a strange reaction about today. Could it be because tonight is the full moon night of the big moon? Arther continued to think about all of the logical possibilities that could enter his mind right now.

Kylie wiped her sweaty face with a handkerchief in the palm of her right hand slowly. It was still nine o'clock in the night, and that meant that the 'Yummy Cake Days' bakery would still need about an hour to close right now. And yes, Kylie has even asked for some time off to alternate with coworkers who are on the same shift with her about tonight. Of course, Kylie did it to be able to immediately complete of her college assignments. And also somehow, Kylie doesn't feel really well today.

And when she said all of that to her coworkers and boss, they jointly replied that maybe Kylie was feel so tired, or so that she is sick about right now, and needed a lot of rest directly, and they even suggested that Kylie should to be go home immediately because all of it. However, Kylie refuses to come home more earlier than before right now. Because Kylie would feel so much uncomfortable as well as calm in that house, especially when the step mother and her step brother and step sister were still in the house, and hadn't been traveling at night as much as they used to do actually.

Shortly after that, Kylie took a deep breath immediately, and started to get up from the chair she's sitting on there about right now. Then Kylie started to organize some things, the location of the cakes and breads in the glass display case so that they can look neat on there right now about. Even so, Kylie felt a little bit out of focus for a few times. Kylie felt so much tired, but didn't want to stop for working.

It was as if all the fears that she already had always felt about the life she was living, would turn for the worse if Kylie would stop moving even for a little bit moment. And Kylie felt so much pain in the pit of her heart every time that she went back to thinking about all of the possibilities that could be happen to her life, and felt how her cold and hot feeling all over her body seemed to freeze and burn herself from the deepest of the inside.

"Kylie." Call that Boss Kylie - Josie, over there which sounds so slow. The middle - aged woman stepped slowly to get more closer to Kylie right now.

"Yes, boss?" Kylie asked while looking right at her boss who was right now was standing right beside of her. Kylie started to slowly straighten herself up, and looked at her with confused eyes straight at her boss.

“Kylie, it's the best choices if you just go home first about right now. After all, it looks like you look really tired about today. Although not as usual, you are very excited, and today, it looks like you do need some more rest. So, just go home Kylie. There's still me and Bian on here." Said Kylie's boss slowly.

Kylie looks a little furrowed on there immediately. Until unconsciously, Kylie began to tightly grip the wet cloth that she already had been using to wipe some parts of the dirty - looking glass display case on there using both of her palms. “I - I'm not… I'm fine, boss. I don't even need to go home early tonight about. I would feel very bad if I were to do this actually. After all, it's still a little past nine at night. And I don't want to leave my job responsibilities on here just because I need to go home earlier than usual." Kylie replied and explaining. After all, Kylie herself didn't even want to go home early right now either.

The boss of Kylie immediately sighed slowly as she started shaking her head. "Not. This time, you have to listen to me, Kylie. Go home, and come back tomorrow as usual. Tonight, you are allowed to go home first. Get enough of rest tonight, and yes, don't forget to take of some vitamins, because you always forget to take vitamins. Bian and I will take care of the rest of your work later. Okay? So don't feel so much worry about it, if I'm going to cut your salary, because I certainly won't do that actually.” said Kylie's boss with a chuckle at the end.

“Um… well, boss. Thank you very much. And I’m so sorry, because I'm not feeling too well today. I promise after getting enough of rest, I will return to doing my job even better about tomorrow.” Kylie answered on there right away. Kylie returned the smile that was on her boss's face by showing a small smile on that part of her face right now. Kylie blinked her eyes.

"Okay, because it's already late tonight. It would be so much better if I called Joseph, to be able to drive you home right now yeah.” Kylie's boss immediately took out of her cellphone from her trouser pocket to be able to call Joseph.

Joseph is the eldest son of Kylie's boss. Which has been tried by Kylie's boss from the start to get Joseph and Kylie so much closer. After all, Kylie is a sweet and beautiful girl who might just be a perfect girl for a relationship with her son. Although, Joseph and Kylie both don't seem too keen to be interested in it.

“Eh, that's not necessary, boss. After all, I'm used to going home all alone even if it's at night actually. I don't want to bother the boss and Joseph too much because of a little things. No problem. Plus, it's not too late to find a taxi either for me to get home. Thank you very much boss." Cut in Kylie right away.

Which she did to prevent of her boss from trying to get more closer to Joseph. Kylie herself felt very uncomfortable about it, but she couldn't even say much more things about all of it. Because Kylie herself is also feel a little bit afraid that what she will say later could offend her boss and Joseph. Kylie certainly didn't want all of that things to be happen.

Listening to the direct and subtle rejection from Kylie, instantly made the middle - aged woman sigh slowly. It was the umpteenth rejection of the effort that she had made to bring Joseph and Kylie more closer together about right now. And once again, the middle - aged woman, Josie, thought, if indeed the two young people really didn't want to be in a relationship with each other. And her efforts were in vain to do about right now.

Kylie sighed slowly, and increasingly believed that if only now the air outside the bakery building would feel very cold. Especially considering that tonight on there will be a full moon phenomenon, the big moon, which usually will bring a cold air that is enough to wash away every bone and skin in the body instantly. After making sure all of the things that she already brought were complete, Kylie slowly stepped back out of the 'Yummy Cake Days' bakery building through the back door on there right now.

Kylie walked down of the street there with her two feet which began to tremble every time on there was a gust of wind that hit her whole body on there about immediately. Even Kylie tightened the hugs by her hands on her body, so that she could provide the warmth that she desperately needed about right now. Kylie looked all around of her. Right in the direction of the shops, some of which are getting dark and closed, while the others are still open even though it is quite quiet with the arrival of customers.

“Huft, why is it so cold about like this right now? I didn't even notice any taxis passing by about right now. Nor would it be possible for me to return home on foot, or wait for the bus to arrive. Every night, the bus would come very late. Gosh, I feel frozen and stiff in both of my legs.”

Kylie's footsteps immediately stopped as soon as she heard the voice on there right now. Kylie started to frown quite tightly. Kylie turned of her head on there immediately, and looked straight at the city forest which was tightly covered by the many trees in it. What was that sound? Kylie thought to herself. Kylie's breathing and heartbeat felt very irregular for an instant.

Kylie felt very panicked, and nervous at the same time about right now. But not long after that, Kylie started shaking of her head in rapid motion. It's probably just a piece of wood. After all, it's an urban forest, and there's a lot of trees in it. And it's very common if a tree branch breaks. Kylie's mind is still trying to think more positive about on there right now.

But when Kylie started to walk again to continue her footsteps towards the bus stop, the voice was heard once again. And his time, Kylie heard some of a growl in the forest. That immediately made Kylie start to pulling out of her phone and turning on the flashlight. Trying to highlight all of the things on there.

Gosh what's that over there? Kylie widened both of her eyes. Seeing something big things inside of the forest. That she was never seen about like that. Kylie even lose her strenght to stay standing with shaking legs about right now.
