Chapter 26

Alvize:

“What are we going to do when we get to LA anyway?” Elena asked, turning to face me as the plane took off.

The two of us thankfully managed to get to the plane with no interruptions, and I was mostly thankful for the fact that no one called her. Her boss calling was not something that I wanted to deal with, especially since I knew that I didn’t want to keep in mind that she had a ‘fuck’ buddy at that station.

Just thinking about it was annoying to me. The fact that she was my mate, and the fact that neither one of us rejected the other told me that we were giving things a chance, but I didn’t want to ruin that because of a prick who thought that he could get between us.

“First, we’re going to settle at the hotel. I think that you won’t mind sharing the suite, or my bed.” I said, putting a hand on her thigh, gently squeezing it. “There will be a gala that the two of us will attend, the main event that we’re going to be at is the after party auction.”

“Auction?”

“You are goin
