Alex goes into the bathroom, and I am embarrassed for thinking he meant for us to shower together. He wouldn't offer something like that already. I mean, he even asked for permission to hug me. I set my bag inside the closet on the empty side. The closet is huge. I could fit a bed in it. The bedroom is enormous too. I can only imagine how big the bathroom is. I really do need a shower, but I didn't want to take over his bathroom when he is used to not sharing with anyone. He also drove the whole trip, so I am sure that he is tired and ready to get some sleep. I walked over to the nightstand and looked for the remote he talked about. I pick it up then I notice I don't see a television anywhere in the room. I look around again, wondering if I missed it. Still, I see nothing. I look for the on switch on the remote and push it. Maybe if it cuts on, I will know where it is.
A wall starts to part, and my mouth drops open. The entire wall opens, and a colossal television iI lay on the bed on the other side of him. I am nervous. I have never slept in the same bed with anyone before."I hope you rest well." He says as I am staring at the ceiling."I hope you do too. I know it was a long drive." He pulls the top blanket up over his body. It is thin and feels good against my skin, so I pull it up over me and try to close my eyes. It doesn't take as long as I would have thought before I drift off to sleep. I know he is as well because I can hear the shallow beats of his heart, and his breathing evens out. It is almost like a lullaby putting me to sleep. I am woke by the feel of sparks on my cheek and my name being called softly. My eyes flutter open to see Alex squatting next to the bed, stroking my face to wake me."Did you sleep well?" He asks, giving me that smile. It takes me a minute to process what is happening."Umm yeah, what time is it?""It's
Alexander, What is he doing? I thought to myself as I started toward where Ivy was standing. Before I could get to the table and ask, I heard him ask for her name and if he could call her sweetie. Then he has the nerve to wink at her. The growl leaves my throat before I can even register that it is happening."Don't even think about it, Nathan," I say as I set the desserts on the table."What did I do?" He says, smiling as big as he can and leaning back in his chair."I would like to introduce you to Ivy. My mate and your future, Luna." I tell him with a bite at the end. I know how he is. He is my best friend, after all. But, unfortunately, he likes the ladies a little too much, so I need him to know she is mine. I hate it for him when he finds his mate."Well, I was not expecting that. Nice to meet you. I am Nathan. Gamma to the amazing Alex and his best friend." He tells her, sticking his hand out to
It feels like everything around me stopped. All I can see is his face. The face I have not seen in fourteen years. It is older, and there is a scar that I don't remember him having above his eye. There is no doubt in my mind that it is him. It is my brother. It is Jax. What is he doing here? How did he get here? I start seeing spots, and I blink to clear them. It does no good, and everything goes black. I can hear my name, and arms wrap around me before the darkness takes me.I awake and blink. It must have been a dream. I feel my bed underneath me, and it is comfortable. I roll to my side and see Alex sitting in a chair with his head in his hands."Hey," I say lightly, not wanting to scare him. His head flies up, and his eyes lock with mine."Oh, Thank you, Goddess." He says, dropping to his knees and taking my hand. "Are you ok? What happened?" He asked me, and that's when it hit me that it was no dream. We were really at the foun
I am not sure what to say to him. Part of me wants to tell him the truth, but I also know that I need to think about him and what he has been through."You look like someone I used to know," I tell him looking down at the floor."Was his name Jax?""Yes, I am sorry if I hurt you by calling you Jax.""No need to apologize. You look familiar. Have we met before?" I want to scream yes, and you are my brother. But I hold it together and hope he doesn't see the storm inside me."I am not sure. I guess it is possible. Have you lived in this pack your whole life?" I know I already know the answer, but I hope he will open up and tell me."For as long as I can remember," he says, running his hand over his head. I figure I am going to have to keep the conversation going myself."I was born in a pack in Wyoming, but I ended up at the Fullmoon Pack when I was young.""And now sh
ChampI knew when I laid eyes on her that I knew her, but I didn't know-how. Then she passed out, and my wolf Max went on alert. He wanted to protect her. I convinced him that no one could shield her better than our Alpha. So when Alexander asked me to come to his house for a visit, I was shocked and surprised. I have hung out with Alexander at some of the pack gatherings but not at his home. With his mate now here, our Luna, I would think that he would want to be alone with her. But who am I to question what he wants. So I head to his house, and Max is getting more anxious. He is pacing back and forth in my head."Hey, what's wrong with you?" I ask Max, hoping it will calm him down."I don't know." He responds and then continues to pace. I don't say anything else as I am almost at the Alpha's door.I knock softly when I reach the door cause I know they will hear it. It doesn't take long for the door to open, and Alex
I have my shower done, and I can't help but pace the room. Alex is in the shower now, and the thought of him in the next room with no clothes on and water running down his body should have my mind running amuck. But instead, I am pacing this floor, worried about what Juliana and Shawn overheard. I know it can't be good. Finally, I hear the water turn off, trying to slow my pacing. I don't want Alex to know I am this stressed out. I have not even shared everything about myself with him. I know deep inside that I can trust him. We have not had time to get to everything."I could hear your heartbeat in the bathroom. Are you ok?" Alex says as he steps out of the bathroom. I turn to look at him, and my mouth goes dry. He still has water droplets running down his chest to his abs, and the steam is rolling out of the bathroom behind him. He looks stunning standing there."You keep looking at me like that, and I can not promise to be a good boy." He s
Alexander, Taking my shower, all I could hear and concentrate on was Ivy's heartbeat. I could hear it racing. I could tell she was pacing around the room. I didn't take my time. I rushed through my shower and got out, half drying off and throwing on my sweat pants. I open the door to see Ivy doing precisely what I thought she would be doing. Her eyes traveled over my body, and I could see the heat. She wanted me as bad as I wanted her."You keep looking at me like that, and I can not promise to be a good boy." Her eyes finally meet mine, and the fire is there, but I also see the hesitation."I'm...Sorry." Comes out, but I don't want her to be sorry. I step toward her taking my hand and placing it on her hip. Her body sends electricity through me."Never say sorry for looking at me like you want to explore every inch of me," I tell her, and my body heats at the thought of her running her hands over me. I lean and kiss h
"I can't lose you," That is all that rings through my head. He isn't mad that I am Royal. He is upset that he didn't know to keep me safe. I don't speak right away. Instead, I make my way over to him and place my hand on his shoulder. He turns, and our eyes meet. I can see the truth and hurt in his eyes. I feel my heart knot at the thought that I hurt him by not telling him. I place my hand on the side of his face. "I have been told since the day I shifted not to tell anyone and not to show my wolf to anyone. I had to wait and see the type of person you were first. I had to know I could trust you." "Why did you look scared of me?" He asks, and I see the hurt in his eyes. "I was startled, not scared. I didn't want you to be mad at me. I have had to keep this secret to stay safe. The only people that know who I am are Juliana and Shawn. They have helped me keep it a secret. I don't know
