Adrian's POV.

I poised my lips together and folded my hands as Millar kept on beckoning for her husband who seemed to be interacting with someone more important than her.

"Give up, Millar; your husband thinks that you're a second choice," Galton told her and pulled me closer, giving Millar more reasons to hate him.

"Shut up, boy! I bet you don't know her age, that's why you're busy with someone old enough to be your grandma." Millar spat bitterly.

Galton busted into laughter, "Ad, who the fuck is this bitch? It's like she doesn't look at herself in the mirror."

"Yeah, she just escaped from the juvenile," I told Galton.

"Obviously."

Millar was speechless and she kept on gazing towards the man whose back was turned towards us.

'That must be her husband.' I reasoned.

"Come on, Galt, let's get the shopping begin, I don't want a disturbance."

"Yeah."

He held me tighter and began to walk away with me.

Millar yelled behind us, "You'll pay for each word you said
