"Casias!" he said with a nervous tone of voice.

I would have ignored that but I could feel the fear in his voice. It also caught my attention because Matias' name sounded like the name he mentioned.

I slowly turned around to look there. Rowan scrambled out of the store to confront the one he called, the man who led the group. My forehead furrowed when I saw the man violently grab Rowan's clothes to bring it closer to him. The latter looked very scared.

"Did you think I did not know you had not paid your rent on this seat this month?!" he said in a very serious tone with his ever so deep voice. I can clearly hear and see everything because I am not far from them.

Rowan's fear was further heightened by what the gentleman had said.
