Chapter 16.2

I WAS just staring at the shining moon above. Weeks from now and it will be full, the time when we will do our plan, attacking the auction hall in Farianio. I was seated on one of the logs. Silence filled the night. People in our hideout are preparing to sleep now that the night is getting deeper as moments pass by. The wind blew so cold that I started to hug myself. I just sigh before I stand and decide to just call it a night too  and sleep.

I was walking through the dark part of the path. I got halted when I heard a voice coming from a nearby spot. I cannot hear what she was talking about but I am sure that was her voice I can hear. 

"Adrina?" I called as I approached the spot. With the help of the moon's light, I saw her standing there with a blank expression on her face, holding a piece of an unknown black flower. A kind I have never seen in my entire life.

"Where did you get that?" I asked as I heightened my senses, feeling some presence nearby.
