“Damian is not someone to be messed with, Master. He’s just like your father,” Dexter warned, his voice calm, his eyes showing no emotions.

I stared at the windscreen, unsure of how to reply, diving deeper into my thoughts. Damian. That bloody bastard.

“I’ve been with my brother long enough to know how dangerous he can be. He is a psycho, a killing machine. ” I finally said, bowing my head slightly.“But, I'm not afraid of him,” my voice low.

Silence settled between us, with only the soft purring of the engine enveloping the air. After winding through the streets for a while, the car came to a halt in front of the Brooks mansion.

“I’ll keep in touch. Watch your brother closely,” Dexter added before driving off.

I shook my head, dismissing his warning. My hand gripped the door handle, and I twisted it open, stepping into the house. The sound of my shoes echoed off the marble floor as the cold air from the air conditioner forcing goose bumps on my skin.
