I stared at Aryan, who was looking at me with a pleasant expression on his face. He made me feel so much better about myself. It wasn't easy though, expressing my feelings to him directly. I never thought I'd be able to say it to him. I didn't even know I'd get the opportunity again to ever be so close to him.

But, after hearing all that Aryan said, how he thought I was beautiful, and followed me all the way to the cafe, not to reject me, but to spend some time with me and hear my side of the story, I was beyond happy.

It meant that deep down, somewhere in his heart, Aryan had a soft spot for me. Most certainly because I was his mate though. I knew he loved Selene more, but I was okay with that. As long as he spent some time with me or gave me a little attention, I was okay.
