Walking into the director's office as I was told, I never expected to see what I saw or who I saw, I knew she worked here but not in my wildest dreams did I ever think she will be having an affair with her boss.
Nova is a lady with more pride than to stoop so low, maybe they have some sort of serious relationship, I thought but it just couldn't be, Nova is mine and mine only.
I know I did her wrong but when I said I love her, I meant it. Maybe I should not have gone to that crazy party, maybe I should have chosen my friends wisely as Nova would always advice but no, I did the exact opposite and started regretting after.
College was wild, my roommates were seniors and they were crazy ones, who was there to stop me though? Dad stopped caring a few months before I resumed college and mom? She wasn't any better, moving from one man to another, sleeping with every d**k and Harry!
I had enough to think about and Crystal, he told me getting high on weed, Molly and even alcohol could help me. Nova wouldn't have loved to know I was getting myself involved in such a life, I pretended everything was okay.
I remember the first day I resumed, I was on a call with Nova, as I got my box into my room, Rodriguez was in his bed with two almost naked ladies, my box fell from my hand gaining their attention.
It was not like I was not exactly innocent, Nova and I had done it a lot and I had even before her but it was different. There were bottles of liquor, cigarette butts, wrapped weed, used condoms all over, I just couldn't help but get shocked.
In my world, I was the baddest! But this before me, it was just massive.
"Jordan love, are you there?" Nova asked me from the other side of the phone, probably noticed I trailed off.
"Yyyes" I stuttered.
"Okay, I was actually saying......." She must have given quite a long sermon but this was just not the right time, I had to deal with the issue before me.
"You know what babe? I'd call you later" I cut her short of her words and got a weak "okay" before the call ended.
The two ladies made no move of any sort to get dressed, they just had their eyes fixed on me like I was a meal.
"Yo kiddo! Finally decided to show up uhn?" I heard someone say from behind me and before I could look back he was already beside me with his left hand swung over my shoulder.
I stylishly pulled out of his grasp and got the opportunity to see him well, he had weed in between his finger, a bottle of liquor on the other which he had swung over my shoulder earlier.
They all laughed at me like I was some crazy comedian giving a show, I started to wonder what was so funny.
"New kids do this, you'd be fine" one of the girls said, she was a brunette, probably 5.2 ft short, very slim, she looked so small like she was a minor.
They all laughed again but this time I felt stupid, thankfully, the ladies decided to get dressed, they both left a kiss on Rodriguez cheeks and left, well not after the both gave me one last look and laughed.
"So, Jordan Myers uhn?" The other guy who happened to be Crystal more like said than ask receiving a confused nod from me.
Okay, Rodriguez was the one who probably just shagged two girls at a go while Crystal was the idiot who touched me.
"Wondering how I knew your name?" Crystal asked and the two laughed, what's up with all these laughter? And that idiot in bed, does he only laugh? Well, I got my response the moment he spoke.
"One of the big professors who never knew us came to our arena, just to tell us" he said then they both completed the sentence "my Jordan will be staying here, please take care of him and be nice" trying to mimic a baby which they failed woefully and then again, they cracked up.
This whole alcohol and weed must really be turning them insane, little did I know this was the beginning of my doom.
