Emma walked over and instinctively positioned herself next to Hayden. After all, they were both from StarCrest Entertainment. Upon seeing Bruce, she extended her hand to him. "Hello, Mr. Spencer."

Bruce glanced at Emma's outstretched hand and then at her standing next to Hayden. He arched an eyebrow. Then, he said, "Ms. Winthrop and Mr. Hamilton make a nice pair."

Emma stood there, astonished. She could not believe those words had just come from the usually cool and detached Bruce. 'Did I... mishear him?' In her surprise, she did not even notice that Bruce did not shake her hand. She awkwardly withdrew her hand, fiddled with her long hair, gave a nervous smile, and snuck a glance at Hayden.

Hayden scoffed, "You sure have a way with words, Mr. Spencer. But unfortunately, I'm already married. Perhaps you should think twice next time."

Bruce's smile faltered at this.

'Married? Could the information I received be wrong? But even if Wyneth is really stubborn, she wouldn't lie about thi
