'After all, I'm doing him a favor; him buying the ticket is only right,' Wyneth thought.

Hayden took her ID, methodically arranging for the plane ticket. Only once he had finished purchasing did he have the chance to look at Wyneth's ID photo. Her ID must have been reissued not too long ago; there was a youthful innocence in her appearance. Her eyes shone bright, and she sported a sweet smile at the camera.

Lost in thought, he heard Wyneth beside him ask, "Is it done?"

Hayden locked his phone screen, and handed back her ID. An awkward silence enveloped them. Dexter, in the front passenger seat, had been reluctant to intrude, but the silent tension in the car was too palpable. As an assistant, he felt obligated to try to lighten the mood.

"Ms. Walford," he started, "After you wrap up Le Palais, you'll be joining the Cessation cast soon, won't you? I've seen your makeup tests from the set—they're beautiful."

A smile played at the corners of Wyneth's lips. "Yes, thank you."
