Chapter 89
Evarius is standing in the large ballroom. The decoration is indeed beautiful. A stage has been set up to felicitate some members of the town. A few people are already here. He spots the red-headed girl, Lilia, her name is. She is with a guy in an emerald green suit. But he has nothing to do with her, not right now at least. Today, he has eyes for someone else. Would she have accepted his invitation? If not, he’ll have to find some other way to approach her. He is about to walk to the other side of the room when Lilia steps aside and he sees Tasha walking up the stairs to the ballroom. She is wearing the maroon gown he had sent her.
Evarius is elated to see Tasha and quickly walks over to her. He holds out his arm to her, she looks up at him, hesitates for a bit, and then takes it.

Esther and Brent had been standing close to the garden, watching Tasha and Evarius. They could not hear anything but they kept a watch in case things got out of hand and intervention was needed.
