Chapter 5

Natalie's POV

I followed Brian to the dining, I could feel his muscles tense from how he walked, it seemed like I really had a good effect on him which surprised me but I shook away the thought 'How can I have this much effect on him? he must be thinking about another girl. Yes, that must be the case' I said inwardly, even though half of my mind was telling me that I was the one but I still chose not to believe it, I'm not that pretty anyway.

As we approached the dining I could hear the giggles coming from my mom and the throaty rumble coming from the jack and I would be lying if I said I didn't like it, but I couldn't bring myself to think of a man like that, besides he's my mom age even with him looking younger. "Baby girl there you are" My mom smiled when she saw me and her beautiful face beamed "I was worried that you wouldn't be able to find the way here but thanks to Brian," she said and the man just nodded. "He almost left me there, if I didn't stop him from running away I would have been going around the house looking for the dining" I mumbled under my breath, even though it was low everyone still heard it. Jack and my mom laughed and Brian was standing there awkwardly fighting the urge to do something.

"Don't just stand there Brian, come join us to eat" my Mom said and Brian was surprised for a while, he looked at Jack and later nodded, he then nodded to my mom before leaving to change his suit. 'Great' I said inwardly, my mom had already started acting like the madam on her first day here. I rolled my eyes on her actions but Jack was all smiles as he looked at her. My eyes wander to my mom's too and truly she's beautiful, damn gorgeous.

"Natalia, one of your brothers called, he would be coming home soon, he said that his trip went earlier than he thought," Jack said looking at me. "Stepbrothers, Jack" I muttered but nodded nonetheless, he's eyes trailed to my muttering mouth but he removed it forcefully and focused on his meal once more not daring to look my way as if he was being threatened not to do so, I noticed it but I just ignored it.

After a while, Brian entered, he was in a black singlet and plain pants, and his ripped body was exposed thoroughly, even those bidding inside his singlet could also be noticed. I removed my eyes from him and swallowed, he happened to see me gulping and smirked but didn't say anything. He sat beside me and dived into his food. "How old are you Brian?" my Mom asked making Brian look her way "Don't take it seriously son, you look so young that's why I asked, you can choose not to answer if you want" She shrugged "No no, it's nothing. I'm twenty six" He said looking at my mom. My mom felt the gaze and looked at him too and she suddenly felt so exposed that she immediately removed her eyes from him. Brian was just looking at her to know what her reply would be but due to his high training, he has an intense gaze that could make people think that they are useless or feel exposed, I have noticed it with the interactions we both have had since I arrived and I try not to look at him in the eyes for long. I chuckled and continued eating.

I went back to my room after the dinner, it was intense and interesting at the same time, and my mom never looked at Brian again throughout the funny meal. I noticed Jack's hard-on when I stood up to get a drink and my eyes went under the table in his area, he was head over hills for my mom. Brian was throwing glances my way but I feigned ignorance with what I got, the guy was so hot making it was hard to resist looking back at him when he looked at me. It was hard, especially trying not to look at his hot body that the black singlet barely covered.

"Sigh" I breathed out as I plopped down on my bed with my phone in hand, it would not be cute to start having some dirty thoughts about the hot bodyguard on my first day here no matter how much I love sex.

A message entered my phone and I checked it, it turned out to be my boyfriend checking up on me to know how I was coping with my new family. He wanted a video call but I rejected him, I don't know why but I don't feel like it. We chatted for a while before leaving the chat, I checked the time and it was almost midnight already, I played with my phone and checked out some features on it before sleeping.

The next day I was shaken up from sleep by a shirtless hot guy in my room "Natalia it's already 11:00 in the morning and you are still sleeping?" I heard the man's deep voice as I was waking little by little. When my eyes popped open I widened my eyes as ripped muscles were in front of me "What are you doing inside my room" I asked dumbstruck, I was still trying to get everything straight. He chuckled at my facial expression before replying "You left your door unlocked last night that's how I was able to enter after knocking at the door for god knows how long" his voice was coming out amused and I don't know why.

"And why are you waking me?" I asked rubbing my eyes "Because you are supposed to go shopping today and it's already 11:00 in the morning" When I heard him I almost jumped up from my bed 'It's 11:00 already?' I said inwardly whilst standing up from the bed and heading to the bathroom to brush and wash up.
