“Are you alright?” Atlas asked her. Anais looked at her mate and took a breath in. There was no guilt or deceit in his scent and that relaxed her.

“Yea, Alpha, I’m just tired and still not feeling well.”

Atlas pulled her closer and pressed a kiss to her temple. “Let’s go home,” he said.

Alfie met them at the entrance and Atlas helped her into the car. Atlas pulled her to the middle of the seat and let her rest her head on his shoulder as they rode through the city. Atlas had taken off his jacket and he smelled more like himself.
