Jessica had insisted that they see Dawson before they go on the trip they had planned. They had planned a spontaneous trip and since Xavier was the originator of the trip she had no complaints about it. Her restaurant was still unopened but she just had a few things to put in place before the opening. She has even hired a few more staff.

Dawson was elated when they said they were going on a trip. He had whispered subtly into the ears of Jessica to make sure that Xavier got her pregnant using the excuse of him being close to death's door and wanting to see his great-grandchild.

Since it was at Aurora Haven that Xavier got to know that he liked her he decided to go back there. After all, it was a honeymoon destination for many people because of the lively cities and people in it.
