Aletta stood outside the office door as she wondered if her decision was good enough. After encountering Leslie and the craze she had thought long and hard about her relationship with Joshua.

Even though she had not been interested in getting married, the thought that his parents might want grandkids and a married daughter-in-law and that might ultimately lead to them breaking up crossed her mind a whole lot.

The scenario of them separating and she being heartbroken could not for a second leave her mind and it kept her from getting any work done. She was also concerned he might have to marry a rich woman and she would be left with our memories of him.
