Andrew was pacing up and down outside the emergency room, the doctors had told him to excuse them while they tried to save his sister. His mom was nowhere to be seen as she did not come with them to the hospital. His mind roamed back to what she said when he asked her to call an ambulance.

She refused with a violent head shake and stood back watching her daughter groan in pain while she bled away. When the ambulance arrived she had refused to get in and he could not help but suspect that she had something to do with what was happening to Anette.

He wanted to dig into it but he had to make sure his sister was okay first. It had been well over an hour and yet he had not heard anything from the doctors. He was hoping she and the baby were fine.
