Book Two: Branch Fifty Nine

Jessica was excited that her daughter was finally picking up some responsibility and helping out with the company. She told her husband not to bring up the fact that Joshua had a girlfriend and that they should wait for him to tell them first.

Joshua had been shocked that his parents were not all over his business trying to know what it was that was happening.

"You both look very lovely" Jessica commented as her son climbed down the stairs.

"Thanks, Mom, I put in the extra effort. I am going to make those girls feel very inferior to me" Jeanne said. After all, she was the one on the top of the ladder. Why was it that they did not fear her?
