Book Two: Branch Fifteen

Aletta had never heard anything more shocking in her life. "Why?" she asked unable to comprehend why he would not have had female suitors.

He was known to the nation's boyfriend so why would no girls hit on him? Surely he must have experienced it when he was in college.

"I don't know, I did not know it happened to men where women confessed to them," he said.

She wanted to burst out laughing and call him out for lying but his face said otherwise. He looked dead serious about it. How could that be? She was so sure that he would have experienced it.

"So you mean to say all your life you have not had girls come up to you and tell you that they like you?"

"It has never happened you were the first so I had to ask" he murmured.

"Oh my god, that's so hilarious" she howled as the waiter dropped the plate on their table. He wondered how this ordinary woman was laughing to the face of his billionaire.

"Will that be all?" the waiter asked cutting into the rich laughter coming from Aletta
