Twenty-Eight

Zyrielle's POV.

"I think it will be better if we go to a park so we don't get overwhelmed," Rain suggested to me. I nodded after a moment's hesitation. I contemplated it for a second and came to the conclusion that it was not a bad idea. "I don't mind that," I said, giving him a small smile to show my approval of his suggestion for us to go to the park. It would be best than returning to his house.

We walked to his car. I was not expecting that he would follow me to my side of the door and open it for me. I could feel the blood rush to my cheeks as I blushed. "Thank you," I said with a small smile. He smiled back at me as he shut the door. While he headed to the driver's side of the car, I struggled to catch my breath. I fanned my face so that the heat would calm down. He got in and started the car after I was buckled in. "You ready?" He asked and I nodded.

He nodded with a brief smile and put the car in drive, pulling out of the driveway and into the road. He seemed very serene a
