I knew immediately I opened my eyes that something wasn’t right. It took a while for me to adjust to the darkroom I was in. I felt weak and out of it. I couldn’t figure out where I was and how I got there. Not to mention that, my hands were tied. That was my first clue.

I tried to remember what happened but was hit with a banging headache that drove me crazy. I shook my head and closed my eyes. The room I was in was pretty dark so closing my eyes didn’t make any difference.

“Don’t panic.”

I whispered to myself and tightened my eyes. It slowly started to come back and I started panicking. I remember getting into the car with those guards because one of them told me that my mate got hurt. And then that bastard covered my mouth and nose with something that made me pass out. I can’t remember anything that happened after that.

“Bern.”

I whispered and tried to connect our mind link like earlier but it was so silent. It was worse than before. I couldn’t even feel his presence at all.
