I wasn’t surprised when I woke up the next morning alone in bed. I touched Bernardo’s side of the bed and it was already cold, which means that he left a long time ago. He has a really busy day ahead and I do hope it turns out as he wanted.

For me, I just have my Luna lessons and nothing else going on. I closed my eyes and just laid there. I thought back to last night and smiled at the precious memories we made. Then I thought about the things he had told me last night.

“I wish it will all end soon,”

I whispered and got out of bed. I took my bath, brushed my teeth, and just threw on a pair of shorts and Bernardo’s T-shirt. I checked the time and knew most of the royal family already had breakfast. I still made my way to the dining room and called for breakfast which I ate alone.

As I walked back to my bedroom I got a text from Julia. “Where are you?” the text read. I responded. Her response came in immediately and I frowned. I dialed her number.
