Attacked

I wake up from the sound of the dog barking loudly. I raise from bed to look for Grant. I removed the blanket and went down to bed barefoot. I looked out the window and saw Grant in the garden playing alone, I rubbed my eyes before deciding to go downstairs.

Furthermore, I stopped walking downstairs when I saw Allizah sitting on the couch. What is she doing here again? Maybe she went for Greyson, and I should not care about it! I'm not going to meddle nor intervene. 

I walked down the stairs with heavy steps. Allizah noticed my behavior, but I ignored her, continuing to walk towards the kitchen. I needed to eat and see Maria again. I reached the kitchen when someone suddenly called my name.

“Callixta”, she calls. I just let her go and pretended not to hear.
