Jennifer's POV

Even though I had a good time with Marcello the other day, I just couldn't stop myself from thinking about Shawn. He was a good friend and the only one who always had my back in dark times. When no one at work had any clue what I was passing through, it was just Shawn's.

Though, Shawn and I were not working in the same company. After I had left Isabella outside the restaurant, I had to drive down to work. I couldn't miss another day since I had a lot of meetings and pending issues to attend to. My boss trusted me so much to handle all of the clients' requests successfully without complaint ant, that was why I was given two days' leave.
