Lately, the forest has been my favorite getaway. At least I can practice my magic freely with no restrictions. Hence, everyday after school, I take the long walk home.
When I get to the heart of the forest, I create a barrier around me. This is so that no one else can sense me or what I will be doing. It has also helped calm my nerves a lot. You see, I will be meeting my mate soon and the anticipation is making me quite nervous. However, practicing and polishing my magic has been quite soothing.
Just a day before the Alpha meeting, I decided to walk home again. As I enjoyed the scenery and the tranquility it offered, I heard whispers. I became alert and decided to listen more intently. Indeed I could hear some of the words.
"We have to warn her.."
"Who has the courage to approach her?"
"It's not about courage dummy!
