Before knowing Xander was her husband, Abigail had never been so close to him, let alone staring at him so boldly. Especially under the silver rims of his glasses, his long and curled eyelashes made her feel he was even more handsome than she had seen before.

Xander set aside the smoothie and extended his long arm to hold her head. He gently pushed her forward as his scorching lips touched hers lightly. His kiss was gentle, but Abigail turned her head to the side, trying to avoid it. "I don't want a kiss anymore. The injury on my lip hasn't healed yet. Another kiss might make it swell. Mel will definitely laugh at me when she sees it tomorrow."

Xander held her face, gently caressing her lips with his fingertips. He said with a low, deep voice, "Well, don't tease me."

Abigail blushed again at his words. "When did I tease you?"

"You complimented me on being good-looking just now," said Xander
