Chapter 712

Abigail followed Xander to the courtyard for a stroll. The weather was particularly hot today. Once they exited the air-conditioned house, a heat wave crashed into them even though it was nighttime.

Xander usually did not sweat so much. He did not know what was wrong today, but he was sweating profusely after walking no more than two steps. His whole body was soaked in sweat after a short while, and he called out, "Abigail..."

After he shouted Abigail's name, his whole body felt like its strength dissipated. He missed a step and was about to fall toward the floor. Thankfully, Abigail's reaction was swift enough, and she held onto his huge body with her tiny physique. "What's wrong with you?"

Xander answered, "I might be dehydrated. Help me sit down at the side."

Abigail quickly helped him to sit on the stones at the flower bed. Only then did she notice Xander's odd condition. He was red from the face down to the neck. She said, "Dehydrated, weak, and unable to walk? Sweating all ov
