Margaret smiled as she said, "Life is indeed better without you two irritating us."

Abigail pursed her lips as she cutely said, "Grandmas don't love me anymore. What should I do?"

The two old ladies were amused by her cuteness. They chatted happily for a while before Abigail finally talked about the purpose of this call, "Grandma, do you know what Nathan's shoe size is?"

When Cassandra heard that, she immediately glanced at Margaret. It seemed like she was trying to tell Margaret, 'Look, I told you they've reconciled. You didn't believe me.'

Margaret grinned from ear to ear. But she was worried that Abigail might be shy. So, she replied with no questions asked, "Nate's shoe size is ten and a half."

Abigail noticed the unconscious gestures the two old women made. But she pretended as if she did not see it. She did not want to give them hope and then disappoint them. She said, "Okay. Grandmas, you should continue eating. I'll call you two again next time."
