Blair POV

The door to the cell opened, and before I said a word, I was dragged out of the cell. "Where are you taking me?" I asked Gary, the bald man who had brought me into the cell. He gave no answers as he pulled me outside the building. The sun was scorching hot in the sky shining brightly in the sky. The breeze blows harshly on my skin, and I close my eyes, swallowing a deep breath.

"What the hell is happening?" I asked Gary as I was shoved into the car. "Where are you taking me?"

"To your doom," he replied, grinning at me, and when I tried to speak, he shushed me. "If I were you, I would not say anything until all of this is over," he warned me, and then he moved to the other side of the car. "You are starting to act so brattily, you human, and I hope you will learn your lesson soon."

My heart raced so fast at the thought of what he had said. I placed my heart on my beating chest and heaved a deep sigh. Where was he taking me there, and why was he doing this? Those were my thoughts as the driver started the car and drove away. I placed my head on the seat and closed my eyes.

How did I find myself in a world like this? I pondered.

How the hell is this happening to me? I continued thinking and rubbed my forehead, hoping that I would find a solution to my questions, but there was none.

I had no idea if the plane had crashed or if the captain had succeeded in landing it safely.

I knew that my sister would have tried to call my sister multiple times, and just the thought of that was enough to make me cry. Tears rolled down my face as I thought about my family. It wouldn’t stop moving, and to make it worse, I cried out loud.

Gary Ignored me all through the drive, pretending I wasn’t there.

When the car finally stopped, it was in front of a gigantic white gate that opened up. Because I was in a bad mood, I couldn’t look around, but no one needed to tell me that I was in an estate. The drive from the gate to the mansion takes about twenty minutes as we pass by trees and other buildings. When we finally reached the main building, the car stopped in front of a mega-mansion. At the front of the mansion was a fountain in the shape of a giant wolf. I stared at it for a moment forgetting that I had to come down from the car.

"Get out!" Gary shouted at me.

I nodded in response as I walked out of the car myself. The mansion was a two-story building painted white. The top floor was all glass, while the ground floor was painted white. At the center of both feet was the name "Kings."

"Where is this place?" I asked Gary.

"You will find out soon," he replied, grabbing my hand and pulling me into the house. If I thought the outside was beautiful, then the inside was impressive. We walked into a lobby with portraits of the three kings on the wall. The one with the amber eyes was at the center, and it felt like he was staring at me. The second brother with green eyes was on the right side, a smirking painter. The last brother and the one with blue eyes were the only ones smiling.

I guess he was the happy brother. Just staring at their pictures made me smile. There was a joy in my heart that came from just staring at them. It cultivated butterflies in my stomach, and the urge to touch them was undeniable. I stretched out my hand to touch the portrait of the king at the center, but my hand was grabbed before it could feel it.

Your highness!’’ I heard Gary shout, and when I tried to turn, I was suddenly pulled into someone’s arms. The arms were muscular as they wrapped themselves around me.

"Do you know what happens when you touch things that don’t belong to you?" He whispered into my ears; his breath fanned my neck, and I shuddered under his touch.

Different thoughts ran into my head as I wondered who he was. Was he the king that I had stopped on the way? My curiosity got the best of me as I hit him with my elbow, which broke free, and then turned to face him.

I could hear gasps behind us as I turned to face the man I had thought was the king. To my utter surprise, he was not the king; instead, he was the king with green eyes. Once our eyes met, I got lost in it. "You are the second king?" I pointed toward him.

"How?" He quickly turned and covered his head with his hoodie. "How do you do this without being affected?"

"Your highness," Gary said, "walked towards me and grabbed my hand, pulling me away from the king. "I apologize, your highness," he said, lowering his head to bow to the king.

The second king didn’t say a word, and when I raised my head to face him again, he was nowhere to be found and had disappeared into the left side of the house, as I could see the trace of his cloak.

"You've only just arrived here, and you've dared to cross paths with the second king!" Gary yelled as he dragged my hands to the left side of the room, where the king had vanished.

"He grabbed me from behind, as I had no idea he was the king," I tried to defend myself, but Gary did not have it. He growled at me as he took me to the front of two golden doors.

We stopped in front of the doors, and he pulled me to face him and gave me a warning. "Whatever you do," he said, heaving a deep sigh. "Do not look into the eyes of the second and third kings."

I furrowed my brows at him, unsure what he meant by that. I had only met with the first king, who seemed to be a complete jerk, and the second king disappeared before I even had the chance to speak to him, so I had no idea what he was trying to tell me.

I couldn’t figure out what he meant because his words sounded foreign. "What are you trying to say?" I asked him.

He didn't respond and pushed the doors open as he dragged e into the room. Bright lights met my eyes as diamond chandeliers were hung in the center of each of the room's four corners. A few men positioned themselves around the room, and at the end of the room were three men dressed in black cloaks, each with a hood that covered their faces. One was seated in the center, while the other two were on either side.

No one needed to tell me that they were the brothers that I saw in the lobby. As I headed toward them, the connection returned, and my heart started racing. I was not even close to them, but I felt attracted to them. "May I, Your Highness?" Gary requested.

I visibly gulped in my kneeling position and couldn’t even raise my head to face the men making my heart race.

"You may!" the king at the center answered, and I raised my head to face him, not caring about what could happen to me. His amber eyes glowed as we both stared at each other.

"This woman was found breaching the border," Gary announced to the kings. "This hasn't happened in years, and according to the rule, those caught crossing the border must be executed so that they don't reveal anything about our world."

My eyes widened when I heard him mention death. Did I escape one end only to be meant for another? And what does he even tell when he talks about their world?

"The human is required to be punished, your highness," Gary continued, emphasizing the word punished as if we had met and become enemies in a previous life.

"What the hell!" I stood up. "I have no idea what kind of place this is, but don’t you think that killing others is all because of..."

‘’will you stop talking!’’ I was yelled at by Gary. ‘’how dare you….’’

The king seated at the center cleared his throat and removed the cloak covering his head. His silver ombre hair was rough, as it looked like he had ruffled it multiple times. "Enough of that, Gary."

"I will take it from here," the first king said, and he slowly walked towards me. With each step that he took, I moved backward until I tripped on my feet and landed on the ground.

I moaned in pain as my back made contact with the cold marble floor. I had expected that the king would catch me before I fell to the ground, but instead, he left me alone.

What a jerk of a gentleman! I frowned at him as he stood above me.

"Listen to me, you human!" he shouted, causing my body to shake terribly in fear. "If you think you are in your pathetic world, then I must tell you that you are mistaken," he said, crouching to my level. "I must tell you that you are in the world of the Lycans."

I repeatedly blinked, as I had no idea what he had said. While contemplating what he said, the second brother moved towards us. "Our mate can look me in the eyes," he added, crouched to my level, and smiled.

My eyes widened as I recognized him as the one who had grabbed me from behind. I pointed towards him and quickly covered my mouth.

"Ashair, Athens, you both scaring her like that," the last brother said, removing his cloak and approaching me. His eyes differed from his brothers, as they were blue like the ocean. He also crouched to my level and smiled at me.

"My name is Alaric," he introduced himself.

My heart beat thump, thump as I stared into his eyes. One thing connected all three of them with me, and it was how I was attracted to them. It was the way they made me open my mouth wide without closing it and gave me butterflies in my stomach.

It was so weird having that feeling for the three hot-looking guys all at once. Was this how people disappeared from the plane and miraculously appeared in front of three guys, or have I watched too many movies and can’t tell reality from fiction?

"Breathe, Blair," I muttered to myself.

"Welcome to our world, little human," Ashair, the silver-ombre-haired man, said with a smile.

I stared at all three at once and screamed like a maniac wondering why I was attracted to three men all at once.
