REJECTED BY THE ZOREN'S

The Serene sound of Fredo's car drove into the compound

Lucien was about stepping out of the veranda when he sighted the vehicle

He took steps backwards hiding himself behind the door

Fredo alighted from the car alongside with Emeliana who couldn't stop darting her eyes round the building

The expression on her face revealed how excited she is stepping her foot in such a compound beautified with different kinds of flowers, and then a mansion built in it

Lucien stepped back to the seating room calling out his grandpa's presence

"Hope everything is fine son ? ", The low tune of Mr Alexandro hit his ear

" Uhmmm ! Grandpa, uncle Fredo just came home with a woman, a very beautiful lady ", he stated curiously

Mr Alex got seated on the sofa while staring at his grandson.." why then are you worried about that "

"Oh grandpa , you know what… if uncle Fredo gets married and bore a child, the company will never be ours entirely...or aren't you aware of that ? ", Lucien remarked

He strode towards his grandpa and got seated beside him

" As little as you are, your memory is broad already ", grandpa uttered to his hearing

He lifted his face staring at his grandpa, " you called me the great and only heir of the Zoren's... isn't it ? "

" Yes I did, that's because you're just five years... anyways, even if Fredo gets married, you're still the heir of the Zoren's...no one will ever take away that staff from you ", grandpa assured him tickling on his hair

Lucien smiled, " why will I be the heir even when he gets married ? "

" That's because he will never have a child just like his brother... and if he persists, then I'll deal with him myself ", grandpa reassured him

He clapped his hands in happiness, he believes his grandpa's assurance to be the truth...that little Lucien will soon own the company

" I'll go get my keyboard grandpa ", Lucien uttered and left upstairs to his room

Mr Alexandro watched him as he climbed the stairs..a smile affixed on his face

He could reminiscence on the day Lucien was delivered and the day his parents gave up the ghost

" I'm so happy to see Lucien so smart, Soon, you'll turn out to be the CEO of the Zoren's company... Antonio will never have a child to take over his belongings..", Mr Alexandro thought to himself letting out a wicked smile

He got on his feet and matched towards the stairs as well to meet Lucien in his room

While everyone was so busy with work,the door was rapped open and Fredo stepped in with Liana wrapped behind him

Their presence drew the attention of everyone

"So who is she ? Mr Antonio threw the anxious question at him

He licked his lips sparing Giberto just a glance , " Her name is Emeliana, she's the lady I'm engaged to "

" Vilfredo, tell me you're joking ? I don't need to be told that this lady isn't educated, she isn't a literate for heaven's sake... how dare you forget that you're wealthy and famous ? ", Giberto yelled at him

He gradually flicked his head facing him, " Gibert, bite your tongue okay... mind the ways you throw your words on me ", Fredo scolded him

Mrs Lolita overheard their voices from the kitchen and ran out to the Sitting room

" What's going on here ? Awww ! Fredo, you're back... who's she ? ", Mrs Lolita enquired

" That's the sticky lady your son wants to get married to, I guess he's insane ", Mr Antonio responded

Mrs Lolita stepped towards Emeliana twisting her face

" Who are you to my son ? How did you meet him ? Do you think you suit being his wife ? My son needs a classic,so get off his life "

" Ok ma'am, I promise to do that ", Liana replied and took on her heels

Before Fredo could step out of the sitting room, she had already left the compound that he couldn't get in sight with her

He felt irritated, the anger that aroused in him were much

" And you think what you did is the best mum ? Like seriously you want a classic woman in my life huh ? That's why you had to kick Liana off my side ", he sputtered at his mother

Mr Antonio twitched towards him, " there are many ladies that suits a celebrity like you,son, not that wretched lady. Make a right choice "

" Fredo, Candida is one of the educated ladies that wants to be by your side...why not give her a chance for once ? Candida is so beautiful and intelligent too, what else do you want in a woman that she doesn't have ? For goodness sake Candida is your childhood friend, meanwhile,you know a lot about her... give her a chance and you won't regret it ", Gibert sputtered out of anger

" You don't make a choice for me, Giberto... besides you weren't mandated to get married to your wife…. I don't want a marriage were I won't love my spouse...Fine, Candida is educated, what achievement has she made with it all this while ? You know what……

"What again do you want us to know..? Mr Antonio muttered angrily

Fredo bit his lips while staring at the three surrounding him

" If not Emeliana, then I'm getting married to no one else ", he remarked and left upstairs

Giberto couldn't get what's going on with his brother, he had never supported him to get married to an irresponsible woman... but not to the extent of loving a low classic lady

" When on earth will Fredo get that he's mistaking ? Could you imagine that he had already engaged that good for nothing lady..", Mr Antonio stated out of furiousity

A resounding hiss escaped out of Mrs Lolita's lips, " I believe the lady will return the ring "

" Lolita, you've been supporting him all this while, now you can see the results of your actions ", Mr Antonio referred to him wife

" But I didn't this time..I never believed it would reach this extent…

"It's okay..mum...dad..,you two needs to have a rest ", Gibert uttered and left to meet his wife

Vilfredo couldn't stop sobbing while in his room...he drank himself to stupor out of anger

Severally, he tried contacting Liana but couldn't reach her...it aroused more sorrow in him

He reflected on the day he met Liana...how loving and caring she has been towards him even before the proposal

"I don't think I can survive being with another woman as a wife if not Emeliana... she's my heartbeat... I'm leaving her to nowhere...", He muttered to himself while sipping from the glass of alcoholic wine in his palm

In the morning, Liana got ready for work

Since she was rejected by the Zoren's,she had always weeped all night and day despite the fact that Fredo never stops paying her visits

It's kinda tough to stop loving Vilfredo, but it's unfortunate that his family doesn't love her

On that bright morning,she felt something different in her body system

The feelings within her were weird too, but she felt less haunted of what's wrong with her

As glazed and unusual of her,she managed to get ready for work with the last strength she found in her

Despite how stressful the Days work seemed to be, she comported herself and pulled everything through

She had counted the day to be so awful to her... since she felt dizzy, nausea, fever and headache

Her eyes couldn't get off the clock, she only wished the Time will tick so fast so she would leave back home

All the times Fredo contacted her, she spoke up audibly hiding the health issues she's battling with

Taking a meal is just like a waste of money to her, since she will just have it all out of her within minutes

After the day's work,she decided to move straight to the hospital in order to meet a doctor for consultation

She believed the little money she had with her will serve for her transport and the consultation fee too

While standing in the Colossal surrounding of the hospital,she caught a nurse stepping opposite her

Gradually,she ran up to her drawing her attention with a tap on the shoulder

"How can I help you ma'am ? ", The nurse referred to her

She swallowed deeply, " can you please direct me to the doctor's office ? I need to see him for some consultations "

"Ok then, come with me ", the nurse replied politely

She left with the nurse into the building after which she was directed to the doctor's office

She rang the doorbell and was ordered in by a deep voice which she believed is of the doctor

"Have a seat Ma ", the doctor offered her a seat after the exchanged pleasantries

She sat opposite the doctor vulnerably

"You're pregnant Ma ", the doctor drew her attention

She couldn't get what he just stated,a silly smile appeared on her face

"Tell me you're joking, besides, that's not the reason for my coming... and I am not pregnant ", she muttered flaccidly to his hearing

The doctor leaned his arms on the table, " alright, why then are you here ? "

"I've been feeling so different within me since morning and that's one thing unusual about me...I feel dizzy, feverish, headache and mostly nausea... believe me, I haven't taken anything since morning….all I need is just a drug prescription for my health,I need to be fine again ", she stated

The doctor smiled while staring at her, " you're pregnant Ma, and it's so vivid on your face...what you just listed is the symptoms "

" You don't mean it doctor ", she screamed out

The doctor assured her of going through a test which was done within minutes

She continuously stared at the doctor and the stated results

This is damn complicated

Instantly,she vanished from the hospital to meet Fredo seated at the veranda

Since she wasn't able to utter a word to him,he took the piece of paper from her palm and went through it
