 HER FIRST ORDER : Don't dare disclose my secret

Candida watched through the window as the vehicle drove in,she shuddered with eyes narrowed

"Who might be the one ? Hope I'm safe ? ", She muttered within herself while leaving the window

Within minutes,a knock at the door hit her ears, she Swifted to the door and let it open

"Is this a daydream ? Mr Alexandro ", she uttered widening her eyes

He stretched his lips into a slight smile, " would you mind letting me in ? "

" Of course, you're warmly welcomed ", she widened the door open letting the man strode in

She hastened and offered him a seat and was about getting him a drink when he interrupted his movement

"You don't need to do that okay, have a seat...we need to discuss ", his lips let the words flow out of it

Candi felt baffled, she had thought severally on the reason behind Mr Alexandro's visit... she's quite sure the Zoren's hardly pays one a visit talk more of having a seat

" I'm seated and all ears sir ", she remarked staring at him continuously

His lips parted in order to utter a word when the soft cry of a baby passed through his ears

"You're a mother already Candi ? ", He referred to her

She heaved a big sigh, " yeah ! I gave birth to my little daughter four months ago...but know one knows that I'm a mother yet "

He snapped at her while relaxing his arms on his thighs

The both stared at each other for a while not letting a word flow out of their esophagus

" Why are you hiding the baby ? Isn't the father loving ?", Mr Alexandro enquired from her

Goose pimples fell on her skin on grabbing the question

This is one of the reason the birth of her baby us kept hidden all this while... enormous questions being thrown at her is what she doesn't need

Rudolph is never her dream husband...being impregnated by him is one dream she never had

Despite the fact that Rudolph has been her boyfriend...all her wish is to be part of the Zoren's family

She had never thought of getting married to Rudolph...never had she whimed to

Certain times she had thought of how to make the Zoren's believe that Vilfredo is the father of her baby... but she found it impossible and difficult to set up

There's every reason that Fredo isn't the father to her baby... and the Zoren's wipp never believe her

It's well known to them that Fredo doesn't love her to that extent... despite the love she had developed and showered on him..or rather, their companionship since childhood

Just like other ladies who needs Fredo to themselves, her efforts to get him to herself ended up in vain

Right from time, Fredo isn't that type addicted to a woman's body... and that's the major reason it Saddens her when it stucks her head that he fell in love with a poor illiterate

Psychologically, she read Mr Alexandro's mind trying to get the reason for her visit

"Is anything the Matter ? Why not let me know other than throwing some hilarious questions at me ? ", She let out her mind while her lips circled

He chuckled exposing her crystal white teeth, " uhmmm ! Candi , meeting your spouse isn't a crime right ? Or you want to add it to the country's constitution yourself "

"It isn't a crime and we all know that, I have no business with the Zoren's... besides Vilfredo is married and with a kid already ", her eyes widened and face twisted that the glares she threw she threw on the wall were much

He stood on his feet affixing his palms on his waist, " I couldn't believe Fredo insisted on not getting married to you, the baby would have been Antonio's grandchild "

He sighed and shook his head

" Do you love spouse as you do to Fredo ? ", He darted his eyes on her

" Of course no, heaven knows that I love Fredo from the depth of my heart and nothing can quench it. I wouldn't mind doing anything just to be by his side ", Candida gestured while narrating her feelings

A loud hiss escaped Mr Alexandro's lips,his face chiseled

" You wouldn't mind doing anything to be by his side huh ? I am using this statement to judge you now…..

"Hell shit ! What are you talking about Mr Alex ? ", She forcefully stood from her seat letting the retorting question escape her gullet

"Do you know anything about the disappearance of the Zoren's heiress ? Just tell me the truth, it's a secret between us ", Mr Alexandro questioned her in an assuring tune

She turned her back on him facing the window, " a secret you said ? "

"Yeah ! It's a secret, we're into this together...you have a wish towards the Antonio's just like I do ", he stated in a low tune

Candi flicked his head backwards sparing him a glance, " already, you know my wish... would you mind telling me yours Mr Alexandro ? "

A hostile smile appeary on his face, " I need to take over the company and the residence, that's just my wish "

"Don't you have a share there as the Zoren's child ? ", Candi enquired from him

He nodded, " yeah ! I do...but I need the documents to bear my name as the owner "

"Then you'll have to do that if I couldn't get the opportunity Into that family, remember it's a deal ", she remarked to his hearing

He got seated again staring at the floor, " you haven't given me an answer to my question yet. Do you know anything about the disappearance of the Zoren's heiress ? "

"Yep ! I am responsible for her disappearance ", she replied instantly

His face lifted up staring at her

While Candi expected a frown on his face, he smiled widely

"How did you do that ? Did you murder the baby ? 

" Oh no ! I gave Liana a drug which she chewed and dozed off at the beach...with that privilege, I carried the baby out of her seater... wrapped her in a condemned clothing material and then laid her in a brownish carton. I disposed her in the bin far away from this city ", she smiled while explaining the details

A 'wow'escaped Mr Alexandro's throay, he reminiscenced on everything the doctor told him

" But If I may ask, how did you come about knowing that the baby is missing ? ", She referred taking a seat opposite him

He shook his head in amusement, " uhmmm ! Liana loosed consciousness and a doctor attended to her...ony way back home, I met the doctor who narrated everything to me when I enquired…. That's when I decided to pay you a visit believing that you must have taken revenge attributed to the hurts you got from Fredo "

Candida let out a loud laugh while staggering at a corner, she held the table motionlessly taking a deep breath

" You know what ? I love that word revenge, that's just what I did. I feel hurt though, because Fredo won't be himself...but I just had to do it because I want Liana out of that family, she can't take my place. I want them all to develop that deep hatred towards Liana for getting their daughter lost ", her voice screamed out to his hearing

" Just like you said, that lady doesn't deserve being part of the Zoren's... you're alleged to be in that position ", Mr Alexandro added

She smiled facing the wall, " I am all ears to get what's going on in that family... already,I have spies around…. Liana will ever remorse on stepping her feet into that family ", she swore biting her lower lip.

Mr Alexandro clutched his palms stepping closer to her, he tapped her right shoulder drawing her attention

"I'll be on my way back home now, Lucien might be curious to see me

All you need is to be cautious in any step you take okay ", he addressed her politely

Candi nodded, " it's a vow sir "

He left to his car while Candi watched him drove off

She felt a colossal happiness streaming in her that she revealed her incisors to the air

"You will never get off my trap Liana, it's a promise made to you by Candida ", she muttered to herself

She took several steps trying to get off from the sitting room to his bedroom when the reflection from the sun hit her eyes

She swiveled her neck backwards to get Joana at the doorpost

"I've been here previously to get you into a discussion with a man, Is he gone ? ", Joana referred to her taking a seat

She nodded, " yeah ! That's Mr Alexandro Zoren, the brother to Fredo's father "

"What business do you have with him ? Hope he isn't here as a spy ? ", Joana questioned her curiously

She shook her head getting seated too, " No ! He isn't…. Mr Alex is by my side of doing whatever possible to be part of their family... neglecting his wish that he needs the Zoren's wealth to bear his name in the documents "

Joana bit her finger, " Candida, I believe you're making a mistake "

" How do you mean ? What's that for ? ", She retorted widening her eyes

" You're already with a baby Candi, and Rudolph needs you and the baby. Don't you think taking the life of the little baby miserably seems unnecessary ? Besides, Liana is married to Fredo already and nothing can change that...soon, she'll give birth to another baby. ", Joana stated politely

Candi glared at her clutching her palms, " Joana, you must be insane for saying that...trust me to go to all extent just to have my place in that family...so don't dare piss me off okay "

" I'll suggest you let the innocent woman be, she isn't aware that you love Fredo and he never loved you back... so it's no one's fault that you aren't there. Already,you have a caring and loving man by your side ", Joana narrated

She forcefully got on her feet taking short steps towards Joana, her face contorted that all smiles vanished from it

" You know what Joana ? I don't care if you grimly mock me with your words...but trust me never to spare your life if you ever disclose this secret …

Joana laid her mouth agape staring at her friend threatening her life
